So, I've got a real burn for an Alesis Strike Pro Special Edition Electronic Drum Set! I am sure SWEETWATER is licking their chops waiting for me to pull the trigger! I want to hear suggestions on what to do to this kit to ensure against failure points as it originally ships. My first instrument is not drums, so I am sure I am lacking finesse when it comes to how experienced drummers treat offerings such as this.
I am in to articulation but not equipment failure.
Happy to help. The only thing to keep in mind is that the kick drum heads are loosened for shipping, so you'll need to tighten those when you unbox it.
