Hi guys, thanks for your comments. If you think about it, a Supra is a rear wheel drive car, hence the rear wheels will be doing the power transfer work on to the roller set. This leave the front wheels free. Sometimes there are stop blocks wedged in from of them. But you can still move the steering a little. However, I do agree with you Franco, there is a correction. The video doesn’t allow enough evidence to conclude on what surface the correction was made. Mechanics has two major enemies, stress and friction. Dyno’s don’t escape this principal. The biggest problem with rolling road dyno’s is slip. Slip is when the frictional contact between the rubber wheel of the car and the metal load roller of the dyno are not turning against the same velocity. A roller is “heavy” in comparison with a “wheel” and there for under heavy acceleration cannot accelerate at the same rate, causing “slip” between them. Slip is just the dyno jargon for wheel spin. Its also important to remember that they tach is a factory tach, so when its a built to handle way more rpms sometimes it looks like its more in the red cause its built to turn much higher than the stock tach reads. For example my 94 z28 has a lt4 388 stroker, with full roller solid lifter valvetrain and fully built to spin high rpm without hurting it, and the stock tach reads 7,000 rpm and 5500-6000 redline, however it easily revs past 7,000 and limiter is set at 7500,so it looks crazy seeing the tach buried but is no harm
I was wondering if you put a high performance transmission to a supra would it reach 400kmh?because it reaches 300kmh so fast with 1000hp, i am just confused why havent i seen one yet thay does north of 400kmh besides ekanoo racing
