I'm still learning back fly, and recently FINALLY figured out how to stay stable, turn, go up and down. 😀 Now Im working on those pesky slide slides. I can't wait to get these skills down to start doing some sit flying. :)

I don't know you but I am loving your flying videos! I just started in this sport and i'm excited to see myself progress and watching you is inspiring! You've gotten really good and your coach looks like he is a lot of fun and positive! Good luck to you and i'll continue to watch. :) Btw, your Verticle suit is awesome, love the colors!

My home tunnel is Chicago-Rosemont. Yeah, I saw in one of your first videos you had a blue helmet which I thought was pretty cool, but then the orange one was even better! That's a great idea, if it was sunset colors, you would definitely be easy to spot! Do you skydive (out of a plane!) also? I did 2 tandems last summer, and this spring I am going to be doing AFF at a drop zone out here in Rochelle, IL- Chicago Skydive Center, with a girl I recently met at iFly. So that'll be exciting, and that's a big reason I want to get good in the wind tunnel so I can use that in the great big sky, plus it's just so much fun. :) It's a small world cause I saw you rock climb and I also just got into rock climbing, and joining a gym that has amazing walls, so some serious fun will be had there! You're lucky to live in Denver. I've been there once, in the winter and it's beautiful, and would love to go back in the summer to go hiking/camping. So if I make it out that way, I would definitely love to fly with you! Hopefully i'll be as good as you by then! Are you on FB? You should friend me!

Good stuff. I just went into iFly for my first time yesterday. I'm going to go again. I think it's something I want to do for fun. :)

Super cool! Hey this may be a bit off topic but I would REALLY love to add music to my skydiving videos like you've done with this tunnel video. Could I trouble you to please tell me how you did it without UA-cam flagging and removing your video? And where do you get the songs? If you can help me I'll jump with you all day and cover your lift tickets! Cheers!

Just started sit fly. Have 30 min of drills and have launched myself feet first into the glass several times. How much time did it take before you were just able to stay off the net? It is very frustrating

Honestly I've only got about 30-40 min practicing sit flying. then I moved away from the tunnel so I haven't had the chance to go and practice in over a year. The time I spent doing it though was incredibly difficult! Just keep it up and try not to get frustrated. I noticed I always flew much worse when I was frustrated with myself then when I just took a breath and enjoyed it,

I was pumped too! His name is Leland Procell. I don't think he does tunnel instructing anymore. :( I moved away from this tunnel and haven't been able to go back for a while now.

    Hey. Pretty cool video :)
I’m a skydiver and im doing my first ever tunnel session next month.
My main goal is to practice my sitflying skills... that’s how I found your videos.
I’m still a bit loss as to how the tunnel logistic works. Did you pay for a 10 min block? It’s awesome to have a coach inside the tunnel as well.
    Keep flying :)

Talk to do tunnel where you are going and ask for a coach, or the DZ you are jumping if there is someone that can coach you at the tunnel. Don't know what your skills are but I am pretty sure you will need more that 10 minutes.

I did 10 minute blocks with a coach. Each 10 minutes cost me about $170 . Hope your training went well!!!

I am at this stage right now but I feel like a could hover if the wind speed was cranked up but for some reason its low which is very frustrating

Make sure to arch your back. You're getting lift a lot from your shoulder blades. I found it was easier to lift with higher wind speed, but also easier to lose control. If you really want a higher speed though just ask your coach. 😊
