What are you talking about? It was boring. Could've played Love's Holiday or something else to get the crowd involved. I was there and the crowd was bored. When they tried to get crunk they played Vice Versa which sounded very demure.

This why niggas can't have phones sometimes, smh. FAMU didn't change to SWAC to blow an eye socket trying to sound louder. They changed because most other SWAC schools are closer in proximity, so it costs a lot less when playing those schools. Trust me, SWAC bands are good...but nowhere compared in MUSICIANSHIP to FAMU. One second FAMU is playing Purple Carnival, the next it's playing Beyonce and throwing in a dance break. Yes, SWAC bands have a different style, BUT it's not standard practice. It literally helps decide what schools play who, smdh. NSU is good, JSU is good, SU is interesting, but none of them can match what FAMU brings.
FAMU is doing just fine in the SWAC…definitely making those garbage programs clean up their sound because the difference is clear when they stand next to FAMU

However, famu is trying as I can't say the same for BCU. JSU literally ended BCU in 2019 meac/swac and BCU hasn't been the same. Alcorn tagged BCU in 2016 and it's been downhill for BCU.
