just because he says "dumbest automotive channel on youtube" repeatedly doesn't make it true. most of his stuff needs minor repairs which the car wizard guy fixes, and off he goes to something else.

The AJ30/Duratec 30 is one of my favorite engine families. Honestly it'd be so cool to see this thing fully built and semi restored with the powertrain maintained. Add boost to suit.
Fun fact: the Jaguar version of this Jag/Ford/Mazda 3.0 V6 makes more power than the Mazda or Ford variants due to slight changes in the head. The engine was also originally developed by Porsche Engineering before the design was sold to Ford/Cosworth.
The Porsche version was a little too long for Ford packing so it was downscaled.
Fun fact: if it's in Jakes favorite engine family.... STAY AWAY
My first car had the 2.5 with a 5 speed, nothing I've driven since revs quite the same.
Had electric valves in the lower intake manifold that were an on/off switch at 3650RPM and felt just like VTEC
Actually the Mazda has the same heads. It's only the Ford variants that have the rockers. Both Jag and Mazda have the lifters directly under the cam. I have a Mazda 3.0 in my garage getting rebuilt for a Miata. Love these engines.
Well...don't forget Freddy has the original engine and transmission from this chassis already kicking around his shop...

Watch Matt Armstrong's Lambo,he does the same. Rebuilds. That Lambo's engine came separetly from the car and has countless problems. I'd say it had harder life

I've never understood how nissan screwed up so badly with the VQ engine sound. This and the busso V6 sound glorious
@@jcc3494 The VQ sound glorious. With a proper exhaust/intake setup they have very high reving V12-ish tone and sound better than almost any V6 out there.

The original F&F Lamborghini Murcielago was the car that popped up in my UA-cam feed and made me love the channel, so I am really looking forward to this transformation!
I’m torn I wouldn’t mind seeing Freddy take all the extra parts he’s amassed and build another movie car but I also would love to see him do something crazy like coyote or hellcat swap it and watch the world burn lol

@@IllegallyAcquiredKIA thank you! It's actually getting a vision swap (vinyl, new wheels, bigger turbo, etc) and if its clapped out just work on it yourself and bring it back to glory. This k5 was clapped out also when i got it, but blood sweat and tears went into bringing her back to life.
I don't think I can stomach another two years of hearing Freddy say "Screen used car" or "movie used car" or whatever term he wore out on that first Lambo.

The footage from the 360 cam doing donuts was trippy. Seems like a decent unit though. Half the cylinders just means its twice as fuel efficient, just what a man needs right now!

Since this has potentially no real value left as a Lamborghini, I really REALLY hope you make this the ultimate Merci. The V12 in the ultimate state if tune or twin turbocharged, with a manual, RWD conversion, and the best possible factory body kit.
What happened to the old rotary engine that he got in that crashed kit-car?

@Russ Freer Yeah, hopefully he goes through it and upgrades everything, ports the heads, intake, and builds a kick ass intercooled twin turbo or twin centrifugal supercharger setup, E85, no cats or muffler, manual transmission and RWD conversion. With very little done, the Aventador seems to easily make well over 1k whp. I know the Murcielago has an evolution of the original V12 but even mildly upgraded and gone through it should make 900-1100whp pretty easily as long as tuning won't be an issue. I can't think of many things better than a RWD Lamborghini with a boosted V12 with a manual transmission. Maybe he could actually build what the guy from Ohio tried but failed to successfully do with the twin turbo "Stig" Lamborghini from about 10 or 12 years ago.

He rebuild this right he have a 500 thousand car to do whatever he want it to.
IDT he is doing anything crazy with outside changing it from a LP to an SV.

@@cooluser23 I don’t really care what he makes from UA-cam, I watch projects to get ideas or to see the final form, Tavarish unfortunately starts far too many and abandons them silently which is annoying. Add to that his very infrequent posting of content and you have the reason why so many people subscribe solely for car trek and don’t bother with his individual content. Sucks too because he’s a great personality and has done some cool things and had some great projects started.
Some people don’t even work on there own cars’ but boy they know a lot about cars 😂 silly rabbits
