To be honest, there's a LOT more ethnic diversity in my city, I don't think London is unique anymore. I was getting wound up in a cinema about the relentless multi diversity programming being pumped into my head watching the adds... Then I realised I was sitting next to a polish couple, and an Asian couple... So yes it's just reflecting reality. What stood out was an advert for trainers, ALL the kids were black, don't white kids suit their demographic?... I don't mind it anymore, but it gets so forced at times it's almost comedy. You get a white man, black partner Chinese kid with a Indian brother... Oh and chuck in a albino for good measure. Almost as if instead of promoting inclusivity they're deliberately making us aware of our differences.... It's really cack handed. And has actually led to racism just as militant LGBTQ+ led to a backlash when gay and gender rights were actually previously massively supported, to the point an 10 year old could decide to be put on hormone altering therapy.

To show how amazingly we have secularized formerly religious celebrations into things that the whole world can enjoy, without removing the religious aspect for those who still wish to partake in it.
To show that Britain is for everyone, no matter who you are or where you come from.

This is brilliant! It might have come straight from Python! People literally have nothing better to do than criticise adverts for nonsensical reasons. Advertisers spend huge amounts making sure they hit the right demographic (it’s a free country, I believe) and then some silly bugger who knows nothing about it pops up and criticises them. If Adjoah Andoh (apologies if I’ve misspelled) is asked to share her opinion of the royal family by ITV, why is that a problem?

TV ad makers all live in London where the demographic makeup is markedly different from the rest of the UK. So they actually are representing what they see in their bubble
To be honest, there's a LOT more ethnic diversity in my city, I don't think London is unique anymore. I was getting wound up in a cinema about the relentless multi diversity programming being pumped into my head watching the adds... Then I realised I was sitting next to a polish couple, and an Asian couple... So yes it's just reflecting reality. What stood out was an advert for trainers, ALL the kids were black, don't white kids suit their demographic?... I don't mind it anymore, but it gets so forced at times it's almost comedy. You get a white man, black partner Chinese kid with a Indian brother... Oh and chuck in a albino for good measure. Almost as if instead of promoting inclusivity they're deliberately making us aware of our differences.... It's really cack handed. And has actually led to racism just as militant LGBTQ+ led to a backlash when gay and gender rights were actually previously massively supported, to the point an 10 year old could decide to be put on hormone altering therapy.
And yet the vast majority of TV adverts feature predominantly white people in heterosexual relationships.
Odd, that.

Practically, some people in Britain get annoyed about the amount of ethnic inclusivity in British Christmas adverts.

Its just advertising to a demographic who were previously not thought of as customers.
