SSA, SSDI, HUD, EBT, WIC, MRA, NSBA, NAC, NSCA, NSAM, UCP, NEA, MTS, DSS.. So Many Organizations to deal with. You have to do it all on your own or at least I did. 36 years of experience dealing with this stuff. It's Brutal.. & I live in MA where these things are supposed to be easier. It’s always best to know mor be able to at least think about others trials and struggles . Sometimes it makes you realize that your problems aren’t so bad and other times it just helps build empathy . I appreciate what you are doing with this series and wish you the best !! When I was in Pa. We had a ride share service that always got me to the Dr. late and he wouldn't see me. Had to make another appointment and wait for another ride home. This one driver would tell me he was a ninja and could walk through walls and stuff. I'd tell the other drivers and we'd laugh and laugh, good times :)
Ya man I used a ride service twice when I was going through the kidney stone thing they made me late for my appointment both times because I had to wait for them to drop off someone else and had wait super long for them to come and get us took forever to get home which is not what you want after something like that. @@unclecow that's when you schedule the ride 30 minutes early. I've done three ride services. Tats a local taxt/van service, share a fair program in kc Kansas. And a medicaid ride company. The medicaid screws things up a lot. I tell them repeatedly that I can't transfer yet 1/3rd of the time they want me to try and get in the passanger side of a van when I have no legs and the seats two feet higher then my wheel chair. I'm sometimes in the van 4 hrs or more
