The flaming crispy is a feral. The green one is a radiated. Both have increased health and stun resist, but the radiated has more so. The rads also regenerate health making them even harder to kill.
Scaffolding ladders are good to melee through. Just make sure you have them turned so the climbing side is on the inside so the zombies don't climb them.
Personally I use the scaffolding ladder turned on it's side. Bigger space to swing through, but it's good to have a wedge block up top to stop them from getting on the roof and beating their way in.
The way infested clears work is the poi is one tier below whatever tier you are on, but with double the number of zombies that would have been there as a normal quest, and higher level zombies (ferals etc). The normal loot in them doesn’t appear to be buffed, but the extra infested crate usually has a ton of ammo plus sometimes other goodies.
For the horde base melee opening, I like to use the double pole shape oriented sideways. Gives a nice window zombies can’t climb through and you’re less likely to break it yourself. Also keep in mind, the zombies will most likely only attack the bars and support column at the top of the stairs and pile up there, less likely to spread out along the ledge.
Double-corner-poles, oriented sideways... is pretty ideal for the bat-swing animation, and her base layout :) The blocks Gen is talking about are more relevant to 'blocking cop spit' while allowing 'melee-through' the gaps. Probably not an issue for a night 14 horde :)
Scaffolding ladder is what ya want to melee through mostly. set it up for whatever you are using wide swings means ya want a wide window. stabby stabby stuff doesn't require as much room to pass through.
Omg daph you were awesome killing these mobs at 12:00 ! Well done and btw I got my full biker outfit about the same time! Love it. 😆 it's a zombie me! Lol😮😅 20:17 😆
@@NotAGamerGaming The thing is when a gate is left open and you leave the chunk it's all ok it in effect doesn't exist anymore, but because some time you just go to your hut the chunk stays live and so do the Zombies.
Your killing it Daff! Your melee is pretty incredible to take down all those bikers one after another in that POI! I dont think those base bars are correct.
I based in the Jacob's residence a while back and I didn't think of it, but you suggesting it's a students house makes sense, to be honest. It does feel over populated with beds and such.
There were three kinds of burning zombie in that house, Normal burned, Without glowing eyes, Feral burned with glowing eyes, And irradiated zombie which is green. Radiated zombies will regenerate fast if you dont have an anti rad mod on your weapon.

Just in case you didn't know, you can grow mushrooms on any surface, I grow mine on the side of the farm blocks just to keep my farming in the same place. You can hit through certain bars, but I don't know what ones sorry.
Bats and clubs are definitely best for surviving early, knifes do more damage, but less range and knockdown, but stun batons and knuckles shine lategame, but honestly you should have enough ammo by then to just be using guns anyways.

There's 3 tiers of enemies: - regular - feral (glowie eyes, & run fast, semi-tough) - radiated (run really fast, very tough, has 'hp regen' unless you hit them with a weapon with rad-mod) The burnie guys... if they're on fire they're feral. if they're green they're irradiated. if they're just "well done bacon" they're regular. 🙂 On day uh... 28? 30? There's a city with some skyscrapers in it, a little south of that. The farming... pretty much, yep. If you fully commit to Fortitude, and spec heavily into "living off the land" it can be decent. But without that, you'll end up spending more crops than it's worth to craft seeds. (but 'found' seeds are free noms :) ) It's a little silly, compared to actual gardening or farming, but they're trying really hard to make food a 'survival game thing'.
ok your first mistake was putting the regular bars on the floor, cops are going to vomit through them and hit you. you need to use SCAFFOLDING LADDERS flaming burnt boys are feral the green ones are radiated and regenerate their health over time if you don't hit them. Daphy you have the quest to find new trader it is the special job.
You missed some book piles in the burny house flamey ones are burnt ferals green rad regen and tougher you get next tier higher next day and you have the quest below the usual quests with special jobs. With work bench you can craft a bike
If you and Gen get bored, here’s a juicy ideal for a mod. Now hear me out… you guys can replace the voice acting for Trader Jen and Rekt, or whichever Trader Gen wants to do. I think more people would appreciate Gen replacing Rekt, but I think you’d be an awesome Jen. Hell, maybe consider reskinning them with your guys characters. Maybe chance the music at the trader compound too. Gen always has good taste in tunes. Anyway, it’s just an ideal.

Mushrooms dont need farm plots, you can grow them on walls and such.
Yes I'll put them on the sides !
Not sure if you have already, but before your next harvest, take 1 point into living off the land to get 2xcrops back.
Good call! I'll try and remember

Lol, watching you pass the Special Job request in the menu at Jens every time was peak Daf.

Most of the other creators are using the scaffold ladder (or something like that) to melee through.
That is what I'm hearing. I will try them out!

There is definitely a lot of loot in those crates.
Not necessarily double zombies, but HARDER zombies as well. Mean stuff.

You should add poles to the rim of your melee area so that the zombies can’t squeeze through.
Very smart!
If you die now there is also an option to spawn near your backpack so bedrolls are not as needed as they used to be.
We haven't died yet, which is a shock!

You can use the baluster rail to shoot through. I would leave an open space in the middle of wheere you will wang and bang through to swing through

You should add the pole 4-way for your openings, zombies can’t get through and it has a large open area to hit through for melee
