Just a thought because her gliching and being able to kill peoples identity as well as the Crimson Moon Dynasty working with descenders got me thinking but just a theory tho! Do you think she could potentially hold her own against the top 3?

Then again, there's always elements that change, like with Yami, and Stark being separated. Not sure any of that was taken into account at the time. Like theres a reason they are ranked in strength because their positions define their power, hoyo makes sure that every new harbinger we meet and get to see fighting is stronger than the previous one and I also think most of her content (boss fight ect...) is meant to be cool and for marketing, and i think people are confusing it with automatically thinking she must be the strongest which seems very unlikely especially since we know little about the other 3 harbingers and possibly other godlike characters we are getting in the future
Yeah thats why its just a theory but more so less about legit power levels and more about fate if thats the case like if she could mess with their identity like she does the kids or if they'd be able to counter it
The problem is that in terms of feats Childe still feels a lot stronger than what the rankings want u to think because of all the things we’ve actually seen him do.
La signora lore tells us she’s strong but somehow lost to the traveler who just got a new element not too long after their Childe fight and we know from Childes quest that he’s far stronger than the traveler by that point
Scaramouche got buffed by a mech and 2 gnosis so we never got to see his strength prior to that.
Then finally no one had fought anything on the level of the whale and Childe was able to fend it off for several days, just fighting the whale took neuv getting his full power yet Childe bought everyone a ton of time and was still able to stop it from hurting as many people before collapsing.
Something the other harbingers have 0 feats to show they could do something similar

Remember that the Crimson Moon is basically an Annular Eclipse not even the Full Eclipse. The powers of the Crimson Moon is probably just a trailer or lite version of what we will be witnessing while facing the Full Eclipse during the eventually fight against Dainsleif.
The Traveller needs to get stronger now more than ever and there isn't much time left.
I'm interested to know how Hoyo can pull this off, I'm not sure if the traveler can get to The Knave's level even after getting the 6th element Pyro, unless getting all 7 elements unleashes the Traveler's original powers I guess.

Nobody thought that the traveler could’ve already used his elemental skills off screen but during the cutscene it was on cooldown. Since they had already being fighting a while. So he was already low on elemental energy and had to rely on physical.
Another thing was that Arlechinno attacks was so fast and powerful that they had no time to use elemental skills.
Can you imagine a spellcaster casting spell while an assassin is attacking them.

I'm really stuck on one thought, she always mentions "I always like it when people have misconceptions about me", is she stronger than her rank? because she doesn't show or tell her true potential, look at the many parallels between Furina and Arlecchino, starting from the acting concept which is identical to both of their characters, in the trailer for both there is a scene of burning paper, sitting on a throne, and they both have done the same pose, namely the closing one eye, as we know Furina pretends to be strong as an archon and then she is revealed to be only human, is it possible that Arlecchino has a potential that has actually never been shown which can be concluded that she is stronger than we know or other harbringer knows, because in the overture trailer, when she is on stage, she is like "putting on a show" surrounded by all the harbringers as spectators, just like furina who put on a show to the fontaine audience as archon hydro

This causes Pulcinella to want to spread a bad impression about Arlecchino to all the Fatui, including Childe who was manipulated by him. I don't think she controls fate, but her power could burn the Irminsul and destroy the Samsara, basically destroying all memories and events that happen until the Tree burns, then somehow or someone can control and manipulate the new fate after that, maybe this is the Tsaritsa plan

Nah, Arlecchino is not the cocky type with empty knowledge who just jumps to conclusions, give that credit to Childe and Scara, she is the most calculative character in stating or talking about something or someone, look at how she analyzes Childe and decides she doesn't want to judge him earlier, even Neuvilette admitted that Arlecchino was very clever with her word calculations

well, tbh.. no one in the entirety of teyvat has outsmarted FATE, the endgame is all about changing the FATE as their will, traveler. Those who had defy fate had either faced serious consequences or met their demise. I don't think Arlecchino, heck not even Pierro can defy fate, the only one who could possibly have done that was someone as powerful as the primordial one and in future the traveler who would possess the ability.
The reason why traveler was stunned during the battle was more like they have seen the crimson moon and they possibly remembered the cataclysm or maybe their sibling's detachment. Also, it has a lot to do with how hyv markets characters, haha. But I wonder, her relationship with the crimson moon and her past, like how she came out of nowhere to save the house.

Being a Descender doesn't guarantee you are on par with the Heavenly Principles, or anything similar. It means you came outside of Teyvat, but for example the Traveler was shown to be not that strong even when at full power. Its just speculation on my part, but from the start cinematic it seems to me like he could be on par with some of the top Harbingers, but thats basically it
I feels early but we are 4 years in and 5 Archons in the game. We already encountered Dottore. Hopefully we encounter her between Fontaine and Natlan before seeing Capitano.

When the traveler saw the crimson moon he seemed confused. To me he mentioned it in an almost "look into this later" tone.
The Traveler is still not very strong, he just got stomped by Arlecchino, who was implied by Lyney wasn't trying very hard. Maybe she was only going easy on the children, but I sincerely doubt she's shown her limits, she didn't even flinch! When Arlecchino says she would kill Dottore if they weren't "colleagues", that doesn't confirm she could actuall take him on. Maybe she can, but we can't know.
What we did learn about the Harbingers however with her, is why they are so strong. They are just stacking power-ups basically. The Knave has her curse, and both a Pyro Vision and Delusion. However this in itself is still vague, as mastery over a unique ability should also count, but we can't measure it. Experience also matters a lot, and Childe is still very young for example. The reason for why don't they just stack Delusions is also unkown.
However we know that Pierro could read her like an open book, so there are probably a lot of things she has no idea about. I'd say even though we know she's powerful, other members of the Fatui might surpass her in more ways than one

There isn't the evidence yet for an Ulquiorra situation where she is hiding a 2nd transformation. All we know is the traveler can't break out of the genjutsu from Arle's sharigan. Would have been great to see the real difference in power and ability like Ulquiorra did to Ichigo.

Well, that part about the Traveller not being afraid of strong opponents is a bit misleading. When Raiden Shogun atomized La Signora, you can't run while leaving Tenshuukaku. The Traveller was stunned, possibly petrified by what he saw. Even the atmosphere is ominous, probably the lingering Baleful Omen. At least that's how it felt to me. Regarding the Harbingers, I believe Columbina is the strongest, but unreliable apart from combat. Probably because she is batshit crazy. I saw some other theory Crafters saying she is the next Harbinger boss fight, because according to her symbol's position on the commedia Della arte wheel, she comes up after the Knave. Wondering if it's on patch 5.2 or 5.6.

It's important to remember that the rankings of the harbingers are not only decided by strength but usefulness to the Tsaritsa. If it was strength alone, Childe would be above The Rooster for sure. Columbina, Dottore and Capitano are probably extremely powerful but also extremely useful to the Tsaritsa in some way. Dottore's usefulness is obvious but I am super curious to see how columbina and capitano benefit her.
Another streamer pointed it out (I think Minsleif) but she doesn’t appear to be affected by the erasure of Scaramoche as her memories still contain him. This is not an oversight; she clearly still remembers which could hint that she does possess some other worldly power.

Arlechinoo killed the previous forth when she was a teen without having her vision and delusion and now she’s older with a lot more experience. She also seems confident on taking on dottore and killing furina even tho she’s thought she was an archon. Arlechinno is the assassin type and in combat scenarios she could easily win a lot of 1v1s . U do realize just being “more powerful” in matchups don’t mean someone just outright wins a fight right . Not to mention she has a royal bloodline and is a glitch in teyvat with hidden potential as she herself doesn’t understand her power and origin
She got her vision while she was preparing to kill Crucabena, so she already had vision.
Who said Crucabena was fourth harbinger
She was able to beat her exactly because she gained an unexpected power boost via the Vision before their fight. I think thats a logical explanation for why she could surpass Crucabena without the latter counting on it. Arlecchino was also pretty sure Furina wasn't the actual Archon, thats the only reason for why she was willing to ambush her.
Any of the Harbingers should be stomped by the Archons actually, they are extremely powerful. The Traveler was only able to beat Ei, one of the strongest, by acquiring the power of 99 Visions. Thats quite the amount for power-ups :D

A Vision just also simply gives you a better control for elements, even adepti characters like Xiao use them.
This would also explain why did Crucabena lose to Peruere, someone she understood the strength of perfectly. The Vision could have also gave Arlecchino a determination boost or something, though that is not concrete
I think the reason why traveler got their butt kicked by Arlecchino so easily is half due to they didn't fight as a descender (as in, they are not surrounded by others' wishes like they were in certain other big fights). I always think the golden energy traveler sometimes produce is their original power being temporarily unlocked through the wishes of other people. As a descender they have the willpower to change the world, so people desiring changes probably can give descenders a power boost. The other half is traveler falling victim to reverse plot armour, because many large scale threats will be much less threatening if we can just easily take care of the 4th harbinger, so traveler has to take the L for plot to continue
I know Aether was being tied down. But in the story quest He does mention to a terrified Paimon that He was scared of her too. But it also could be just like Childe and Columbina. There is just something off about her.
Maybe something similar happened, the Traveler was scared of her frozen in fear but is not sure why.
Or maybe seeing the Crimson Moon triggered something from His past that caused him to freeze.
Or maybe it’s a sign of what’s to come as Arlecchino says “looking into her eyes is ill advised i can’t guarantee you’ll like what you see.” and We know Columbina might have something special about her eyes that is why we see her with her eyes closed most of the time.
I think that she might be a decedent of a Descender and a member of the Royal Family of the Crimson Moon Dynasty
She probably is, that is a mainstream theory, but that doesn’t mean she can play with fate in some way. I’ll say it for the 3rd time, but fate not being possible to alter is the idea of fate, if it can be altered - it is not fate.
The traveler always levels up as the story progresses. Sure now they can't beat arlecchino but they keep getting stronger.
she is a descender that can rival the fate of this world. I am pretty sure that was hinted in the cut scene were the traveller starts to shake. What that means is that the traveller is NOT a descender that has that ability yet and this is very crucial. Remember that Arlecchino is highly intelligent she has set up the ending of that quest while she is standing near the lake thinking this hints that she operates very much like a spy were the most mundane actions have a purpose, she probably reveals her power to the traveller so she/he knows that when the time comes she can be trusted this is to create an unexpected ally but probably the first person in Theyvat that has an ability to help us in the future.
Arlecchino is drawn to Neuvilette now this is interesting for several reasons. She talks about judgement in her voicelines and the more I think about it she sees her fate in Theyvat to enact revenge upon those that destroyed the Crimson Moon dynasty. She isn't really evil she was frustrated with Furina because she thought she was a fraud, but once she learned the truth she admires Neuvilette for protecting her just like she protects her children, there is a mutual respect between them that is subtle and elegant in game. I also believe that she has gathered some knowledge about the Crimson Moon Dynasty and is using the Fatui to learn more it is heavily suggested in her conversation that she is prepared to leave the Fatui and Tsaritsa when that time comes in exchange for her children's protection.
She allowed Dottore one experiment now I believe what he wanted was the ashen flames central to project Stuzha which I think means burning down Irminsul. The heavenly princples might not even know that Arlecchino exist therefore they do not yet know she has this power her animation suggest that she should not exist at all and that Irminsul is actively trying to force her out I think her ultimate is when she bridges the gap to the other side "the old world" This is a potential reality that I think Theyvat is designed to resist.

Now this story is probably much more complicated and I Don't think we know a fraction of what really happened I am not sure anything Irminsul tells about Khaenri'ah is reliable at all. I think she herself is an ashen shadow, I think it's hinted that she knows that she herself has forgotten who she was. There is a sadness to her while she explains how limited ashen shadows are in the "real world". Now I do have a theory of who she once was I think she was Perinheri or possibly their child. Or somehow related to what happened there. Another theory I have is that she is the traveller but from the other side. The Crimson Moon now I think these two are competing realities and I also believe that it's connected to the Hillichurl curse. It's even possible that her glitching is her refusing to turn into what Caribert became a loom of fate, in that sense she is actively not obeying Irminsul. Scara tampered the irminsul which doesn’t affect the descender and she not having a voiceline about him already proves she is anything but a descender
I mean they select people that matter to characters in voice lines. As far as I know Arlecchino cares almost nothing for Scara. You think that is evidence that she is not a descender? Her eyes lit up she transported the traveller to another domain and she controlled her fate, these are all traits of a descender. Khaenri'ah was said to have been at the border to the outside for all we know Crimson Moon dynasty could have been the first descenders that came to Theyvat. All descender mean is that you came from the outside and that you have a will to rival the fate system inside Theyvat, that's all, not superman not some invincible hero, that has not been said anywhere.

The phase 2 we saw of her most likely isn't her final form too. Iirc there's a line about if her curse reaches her heart something will happen. I think she'll have a final phase as a full on eldritch beast.
I feel like Arlecchino and Childe especially are underranked given their potential power levels. But there's also Childe's line about Columbina going like "How the hell is she only rank 3". How do the Fatui even measure the strength of their harbingers, and do they even take stuff like potential into account?

Btw ı do think that traveler is kind of shocked because of that crimson moon. Because it wasn't really his first time seeing one. İn the raiden ei's realm( or domain if you prefer.) he saw that crimson moon for the first time. But he was confident because he got the power of a whole nation's vision. He knows that he is gonna win. But Arlecchino case is different, he was all alone(no extra powers). And when he saw that moon he was shocked. He knows he isn't strong enough yet. I think traveler isn't that strong at all. He couldn't defeat scaramouche himself all alone and nahida had to repeat that fight with him like 168? I forgot. But lots of samsara happened. Nahida get lots of infos from that repeat of battles and helped out the traveler to defend him. I think it's safe to say that traveler is equal or top of childe's powers as rank. But childe is still young and training. I'm sure he will become more stronger in time.

I've never been convinced about the harbingers ranks being tied to strength. then again there can be several kinds of strength not necessarily combat prowess. with her being fourth, she is right under the three that supposedly have power that rivals archons, we don't know how much of a gap there is between her and number 3.
But other than that, she's an assassin, she may not be able to take on the top three in a up front fight but may be able to get the jump on numbers 2 and 3, i doubt she could do anything to number 1 if all the praises and gushing from other characters is anything to go by.
idk if this is helpful or not, but in CN they use "实力" (which translates directly to "strength") when explaining how the harbingers are ranked, mean their ranks are tied to their strength, however it never really specifies which kind of strength

I don't think this is the case, cuz Pierro knows who she is, if U see her story lines. He would not be misslead. Also it's so soon, we still don't know anything of the top 3 and terms of power. Capitano may well be connected to dragons or Abyss... So, if we yet have to discover her power, same goes for the other three.
Her "raising the sword against the Tsaritsa", or "killing Dottore" is related to her strong will and conviction. This is even more surprising and remarkable than actual strenght. This is the power of a true leader.

If she gives in to her curse it's very likely that she's the most powerful Harbinger, but that power will also end up costing her life.
Also, remember that she froze Aether when he looked into her eyes. I think part of her power is to show things to whomever looks into her eyes, something like the power of Ghost Rider from Marvel, Aether definitely looked like he was having Vietnam flashbacks. Oh and one of her idle lines is that if you look into her eyes you might not like what you see.

Next Mikoto used her Power of Origin to create the Fake Sky and stars along new Animals and beings but she also Sucumbed to the Corruption . With only Bronya and Seele left they created the Archons and the Lie of the Primodial one and the King Archon . Kate Bronya and Seele thought they Defeated the honkai but the Honkai was Still there a Shard of the Will what was Previously shattered by Kiana and Mei in the of GGZ was Already on the Planet these three not strong enough to beat the Will they Sealed the Will away but this Battle created the Abyss and a Direkt link to the Sea of Quanta but this Battle had some Fatalitys Bronya and Seele there killed in this leaving Kate alone a Grieving Kate did not realise or found out about the Abyss in the Next Centurys the Khaennaey and the Spire of Dragons found out about the honkai and there Destroyed by Kate . Later the People how later become the Abyss order found a half truth what the Skies there fake created by the Celestia tryiad and they vowed to destroy the Celestia tryiad and free Trevyat not knowing they there invating or Freeing an even worse enemy .

Her rank suggests she is stronger than the 5th and weaker than the 3rd. Other than that she can be on any end of that spectrum. If she was stronger than Columbina Pierro would have known and put her as the third, he didn't, even though it is outright mentioned he knows the full extent of her powers and is not bothered by it. Also, deleting a person's memories differs from erasing the event itself. So I don't think she has power over fate, but rather over a person's own mind, so far as they are weaker than her. With that being said, she would then be rather underpowered to kill the top 3. Saying she wants to kill Dottore and actually doing it are two different things(Like Childe wanting to fight Capitano. He will lose, yes, yet he can still fight him despite that). That is it. She is the 4th, just that, not above , nor below her rank. If anything, we should think of what powers must Capitano have if she views him as stronger than herself. He would probably have actual fate manipulation(in some sense), not mere memory erasal of but one person's own memories.

I think the reason she was able to stun the traveler is because her powers stems from the crimson moon bloodline which is an ancient khaenriahn bloodline. Khaenriahns are notorious for their abyssal powers so I’m sure it’s also paired with shock due to the familiarity? Of that power.

She like people to have wrong misconception of her. She probably stay at fourth just below the 3 "godlike" harbringer because it's convenient for her. She like you think she's "only" the fourth strongest harbringer. I think that power wise she would probably be actually 3rd behind Capitano and Columbina, she clearly stated had they not been on the same team she would’ve already killed Dottore that’s how much she despises him and She sounds confident in her capability to do so. However the Ranking of harbingers is not purely strength or power it’s also their overall contribution to the Tsaritsas cause and Dottore being the doctor running experiments constantly obviously contributes a lot to the Cause thus giving him a bit of a higher rank similar to the Regrator who is the richest man in Teyvat and funds much of the fatuis operations while he isn’t exactly a fighter he still has his purpose which placed him above Childe. Dottore too seems less capable strength wise and more capable intellectually.
Dottore’s combat strength has been emphasized a LOT though. It was said in act 3 of Sumeru that: “Plus, The Doctor's combat ability alone is apparently enough to make him worthy of being number two of the Fatui...” Dottore himself is very confident in his ability to take Nahida on, and she, who’d been watching him closely, is all too aware that she’s no match for him as well.
The Harbingers are ranked by combat strength, most likely. I don’t see Pantalone, man who orchestrates grand plans and to whom the entire nation’s economy is attributed to is LOWER than Sandrone and Scaramouche at the least… He’s done more for the Tsaritsa.
Dottore is not known for his fighting skills because it’s not his preferred means of presenting himself. He takes greater pride in his intelligence and experiments, hence why he chose to negotiate with Nahida when he could have easily fought her and taken the Gnoses by force. I reckon many people haven’t seen him fight. But we know he’s a very capable fighter, and I don’t doubt he’d beat Arlecchino tbh.

Pierro knows more about arlechino than anyone else. Even after knowing this he didn’t put her any higher. Nahida also mentions that the top 3 are equal to gods so even if arlechino couldnt replace the others, it would have been stated that the top 4 has powers as strong as gods instead of just top 3.
