So growing up in a theater family my parents taught us about standing ovations and they would really make sure we only stood for a special experience and an amazing performance. I'm glad they taught me that because it really had meaning when I jumped to my feet at the end of the NY premier of Theory of Everything. A humble actor who does the work and does it with grace and integrity while acting as a part of the project as a whole. What a treat for the viewer, and the industry.

Eddie just seems like such an awesome dude. This is definitely one of my favorite interviews you've done because you both seemed to genuinely enjoy just chatting with each other.

thanks for this! Been a fan of Eddie's since 2007/2008 and could not be more pleased with how his career has taken off in the last couple of years. I hate to make assumptions but he seems like one of the most genuinely lovely and humble people you'd ever want to meet in Hollywood. Real class act, that Redmayne!

Literally just recently getting into this lovely mans work. He is such a pleasure to listen to. He is sooo funny, witty, intelligent and never afraid to express himself. He’s so easy to understand and relate to. Adore this young man. ❤️💕🌸🌷😊😜😀

I met him in 2016 at comic con. I’m disabled and ‘the theory of everything’ really affected me and I basically sobbed to
His face. He was very sweet about it. 😂

Hope you can have another interview with Felicity. And at least a solid 30-minute one would be great! Last interview at TIFF only got 15 minutes and it just wasn't enough.
BTW, I love how your interviews actually let the actors talk. It's so great to know their real thoughts about acting and films underneath their star images. :)

Just wanted to say I always enjoy watching these interviews, my favourite of which is the Sam Jackson one. Do you have one with James Cameron somewhere? I would love to watch an interview with him in dp30 detail.

giulybliss this is a year later but just thought I'd say it anyway. People were talking outside the interview room and Eddie couldn't really focus on what he was trying to say (he said he can't multitask 😂) and so the lady there asked them to leave. But he (Eddie) was nice about it. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Hire David Poland on CBS. He's perfectly doing his job. Who's better?
Common people let's hold him up. Post it everywhere. Why so talant and so moneyless at the same time?
