I've been to two ATEEZ concerts the past couple of weeks, and here are some of my tips: 1. If going alone (like I always do T-T) try to find other people on Twitter beforehand! This really helps, because you'll actually have someone to queue with! 2. If you're feeling uncomfortable or unwell during the concert immediately try to get a hold of a security guard to get some water! I had to ask for water a good three times at the Berlin concert and only once at the London one! 3. If you've got pit try to go to the sides instead of the middle, because you'll end up way closer to the stage, ex my videos from the London concert vs the videos from the Berlin concert that I have on my channel. For reference I was no. 193 in London and 339 in Berlin, and yet I still managed to be closer to the stage in Berlin. 4. When picking your clothes try to be practical. Everyone wants to dress to impress, but to me concerts are about survival as well (this sounds so dramatic skskks). I always try to avoid having to pay for wardrobe, so a jacket you can tie around your waist and a small bag is usually the way to go, and please for the love of God don't wear long sleeves, you'll get extremely hot in there. 5. Always bring a hairclip or a bubble to tie up your hair, if your hair is on the longer side. First of all you won't get as hot, and second of all your hair won't look as gross if you have hi touch (gotta look good for them kpop idols) 6. Help others around you!!! A girl broke down crying next to me in London, and I immediately reacted and tried to get her some help. This is important for everyone's safety tbh. 7. Enjoy the concert and don't stare at your screen the entire time; you'll regret it.
7. Enjoy the concert, do not film all of that , film a little( 30 min ) to enjoy it because maybe is your once concert you've been at that band ( oh shit i make this do not try this you ll regret)
캉인서Kang MinSeo Totally agree! I actually record almost the whole time (breaks when my arm hurts), but I keep my eyes off the screen. So most of my footage is horrible and messy but I have awesome memories so it’s okay 😭❤️
Lee Ade _Lee Felix I agree, I’ve only went to one concert A.C.E in 2018 and recorder almost everything. Though I’m happy for the memories, I regret not enjoying the moment as much as I could’ve.
I'm seeing Day6 and Seventeen (my ults) in Berlin and I'm not okay🙃 And I saw BTS and have been to Finger Heart Festival (Monsta X, Jeong Sewoon, Wjsn, Kard) so I have a few tips; 1. If you want to film don't look through the phone but just hold it with you hand, the footage will be shaky ect. but you can still enjoy the concert. But in general; you can always record with your eyes :) 2. Drink a lot in the morning and don't drink anything the hour before so that you won't need to pee in the middle of the concert 3. Always go to to toilet at the venue when you enter, disregard the long line 4. If you bring hand fans or anything make sure that you don't block anyone's view. A girl blocked my view with her Wonho fan when Monsta X performed so I had to go over and tell her to put it down. (and I have social anxiety so that was fun) 5. Go a few hours earlier so that you can collect freebies 6. Don't be afraid to scream and sing along, it's what makes concerts fun :) don't overdo it tho. Please, a friend of mine had a girl next to her, which was screaming SO loud the whole time, that her ear started to ring and she still had it the next day. if you want to dance then do it (if you're in the standing pit only tho lmao)
I’ve been to two kpop concerts - bts and ateez! For bts me and my friend just kinda talked to ourselves the full time bc the fear of talking to non multi army’s was real but for Ateez me and a different friend got into conversation w the people in front of us and it was awful. One of them was like hyper sexualising the members and the other said I hate girl groups they’re really annoying after I said I liked some girl groups when we were talking about that so yeah wildly different experiences lmao but the concerts themselves were great. Also I’m super short and for big venues like bts I reccomend p1 seating if you can get it bc I couldn’t see anything and I was quite close to the stage so that was fun but for Ateez it was a small venue and I ended up standing on a raised section and was able to see and it was amazing so yeah go with your gut if you’re short
7:05 another great point! I know that the adrenaline rush makes you feel super nauseous and you might not want to eat right then, but if you do not eat, you will feel so much worse later, and you may end up vomiting during the concert, which is not good.
I'm seeing BTS next month and maybe TXT too. And seeing Monsta X in August Update : I got TXT tickets so I'm seeing them too. Twice is a maybe I wish I had these tips last year I was a mess bless lol 😂 When I went to see MX, girl it was a MESSSSSS! Me and my bestie were on a train and she pulls out her phone and says the concert starts in 2 minutes and its a 11 minute walk when we get off the train. I never ran so fast in my life. And I had on the wrong shoes for running. I ended up hurting my foot. I also was dehydrated and covered in nacho cheese and black lip stick. When we got into the venue. We couldn't find our seats lol a nice Monbebe tried to help but it was a fail😂 my bestie made us sit in some random empty seats and soon as we got to them MX comes on stage singing Jealousy. During the concert I wanted to pass out so bad I was so thirsty but I refused to miss anything. I had no idea we weren't allowed to record because security said nothing to me in fact they was busy jamming out lol but everyone else I talked to said they was strict and some girls got kicked out lol After the concert I ended up having to wear my friends socks and walk with no shoes. My feet were bleeding. I had to soak them in ice water for an horror. My whole body was sore to be honest from dancing but I had so much fun. When I saw Wanna One I had no idea about the backpack rule I had to pretend mine was a purse. I was so nervous. Lol Also there were so many empty seats so me and my bestie moved to some better ones. Also she snuck and recorded stuff by sticking her phone in her bra and having it propped up. We were so bad during that concert.. We moved seats like 3 times. Security wasso focused on throwing out girls who were recording stuff. This girl snuck in some chocolates and shared it with it. It was Godiva. My fav yum. I had a blast. That was my first Kpop concert.
I've been to so many concerts alone before and if I'm seating I just go last minute so I don't have to be lonely - but since we are all fans of the same group we usually can just talk to anyone esp. the people sitting next to you :) Also, I try to meet up with buyers/sellers who i've talked to frequently in the past
this was really helpful but im still wondering about lightsticks. like if you didnt have one, would it be weird and would you feel out of place since nearly everyone else has one. what are you supposed to with your arms lol
I didn’t have a light stick for ATEEZ (and I had the same worry you have). I planned on buying one at the venue but they sold out before I could get merch so ☹️ but I didn’t feel out of place at all! I was just jamming the whole time and also they were a newer group so a lot of people didn’t have lightsticks. Also sometimes people use smaller, unofficial light sticks at concerts.
I'll probably go to a concert in 2-3 yrs, when theres a break in the chaos that is my life and istg if I end up in the pit I'd be sad since I'm really really short. I'm 5'1" so I wouldn't see anything lmao short girl problems
I'm seeing Monsta X in Chicago and LA and also at the iHeart Radio Festival in Vegas. I'm so excited! I'm meeting many of my favorite twitter mutuals for the first time and seeing friends I met at last year's concerts again.
3:08 This is really good advice! I’m going to see Monsta X for the first time with my mom, and we’ve booked a hotel almost across the street from the venue. After the concert is over, you are going to be very tired, and you will not want to have to walk super far
I'm going to NCT next month and Monsta X in August both in LA! I got P1 for NCT and thank goodness it's all seated, and I won my Monsta X tickets from a radio station (I literally called in and won) so I have no idea what kind of tickets they are. I'm so excited!!! I agree with everything you said, and always get fast food of some sort after every kpop concert.
I've been to a few other concerts before including orchestra concerts, concerts with multiple indie bands and things like that. However, I've never been to a k-pop concert before. I hope that I can go see SHINee when they all return from the military!
Perfect timing! I'm seeing SF9 next week and needed a good refresher. I went to Got7 last year, it was an amazing experience all around but the one thing I wish I had done differently was get a higher ticket tier. I was seated so far back from the stage. This time I fixed that and got top tier in the pit haha. For advice, I STRONGLY recommend following the show organizer (Subkulture, MuMusicTaste, etc.) on Twitter or Instagram and TURNING ON NOTIFICATIONS. They release all kinds of info about show day schedule, rules, merch, etc that's easy to miss. There's nothing worse than being confused on show day and wasting time because you didn't read everything!
I hope to see Nct at some point but I’m kinda loosing hope bc they haven’t announced anything for Europe yet and I was so focused on them (since they are my ults ) that I didn’t buy tickets to any other concert 😫😅 also thank you for sharing your experiences your videos are always so great!! 😊💖
This has been so helpful!! I have seen Day6, Crush, MonstaX, Astro, Red Velvet, Sik-k, and Epik High tonight actually! I am seeing MonstaX again in July so this video was amazing! 💜🙊 Thank you for making this video! I hope to get BTS tickets someday but that is a challenge. 😭
I’m planning on going to a Stray Kids concert in Atlanta in about a month, and this video helped me get an idea of what to do since this is my first time lol. Thank you so much.
I'm seeing BTS for both dates at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey, it'll be my 4th and 5th time seeing BTS - it'll be more than twice as big as the last venue I saw them (Citi Field) so it's going to be insane but I'm super excited! To anyone seeing BTS for the first time, if you want merch I would recommend getting there early because stuff will definitely sell out! Have a plan and a backup plan on what you want and probably set a budget otherwise your bank account will be drained. And if you don't have an Army Bomb now you can buy it at the concert but you have to buy batteries separate so you might want to order it ahead of time. Hope everyone has fun at the shows they're going to!
In addition, anyone who wants to buy BTS merch before the concert, not only does stuff sell out quickly, but in my experience, it’s usually quite expensive as well. There was a sweatshirt that I wanted when I saw them at MetLife, but it was $80 and all I had was $25.50
@@yoo_blue2238 Oh yea it's soooo overpriced in my opinion but there are some cheaper options at least like the premium photos were $15 and at the LY tour the photocard sets were only $10 each. I prefer merch like that over clothing usually so I tend to not spend a lot on merch but even so a merch budget is definitely necessary!
I am finalizing plans for Got7 in LA. Not just my 1st kpop concert but my 1st concert ever. I just never had the money or time before. I have time off and money for tickets only need to figure out travel/lodging plans. Wish me luck
Aaahh this seems like so much fun 😭😭😭 I’ve never been to a Kpop concert yet but my friend was able to go to Astro’s this year and she had the time of her life. If she can go to a kpop concert, then there’s a chance I can go to one too!! ❤️But yeah buying tickets seems like the most stressful part, especially if you want the VVIP lol. I’ll probably look back on this video whenever my first concert will be✨💕
Aaliyah Lopez plz enjoy it also for me!!! European fans lately are so worried because more than one month ago SM said they would publish european dates, we are waiting but nothing happened. And now nct127 are so focused on USA that we think they might have forgotten about their initial plan. My dream is to see them in Milan, but if they won’t come to Italy I’ll even travel to another country to see them. They are so important to me I need to see my boys 😭
@@TT-yv6fu for me the fans in australia are pretty nice you can basically just talk to anyone and make friends with ppl in line, or I just got seating so I'd just go when the concert started so I wouldnt be alone and then I went home straight away so I was only there for the actual concert. I also have alot of online friends in my city so I just meet up with them even if we arent that close
Great video! I agree with having a portable charger! Just don't lose it like I did😑I usually have to go to Chicago for a show (from Minnesota), and when I was seeing BTS for the second time, I accidentally dropped my portable charger & cord, and even though i had seats, it disappeared.😖 I get out of the concert, it's rainy and cold and my phone dies just as I was getting an uber back to my hotel... Sooo thankful there was a Target still open next door for me to buy a cord and a 24 hour Subway where I could get a late night sandwich while my phone charged. 😂
this video was very helpful!! i'll probably be watching more of these videos in the next few months because i'm planning on going to kcon ny and tbh i'm terrified. nonetheless, i am beyond excited and hope that the presence of my non-kpop sister doesn't take away from my experience. i'm definitely going to give her a forewarning and apologize for anything i say/do during the concert lol
Amanda Soliven i have not sadly!! i was really looking forward to this tour but i can’t make it to any stops (if only it was over the summer when i could travel) have you been/are you going to an SF9 concert?
ohmyzuho haha no I haven’t either. I REALLY wanted to go to their tour but don’t have enough money yet lol and I live in Hawaii so it’s hard 😣😣 it would be really cool to see sf9 perform in concert. Hopefully I can meet them and ZUHO😍 someday
I was in ATL for ATEEZ and Monsta X and didn't see you 😭. I've been following you on/off since 2014, so you're like one of my OG KPOP unnies 🤣. Like you helped me start my kpop collection. Maybe I can see you in ATL for MX this year 🤞. Half Serious advice for kpop concerts though: get a job at a hotel, so you can get those sweet hotel discounts, especially when the hotel is right across the street from the venue 🤣😎
i was first seeing nct in miami! but then bighit decided to drop some news about TXT having a showcase. one stop was to ORLANDO. no one comes here but i was so surprised and i HAD to take the opportunity. i was broke so i had to sell my nct ticket plus i was closer to orlando than i was to miami. i feel guilty about doing so but....at least i got hi touch for txt! i’ve only been to *one* kpop concert and it was wanna one in atlanta! glad they’re the first and glad i saw this for the first and last time 🥺💗
I’ve been to twice wanna one and BTS concert and hallyupopfest which is like a Singapore kcon lol going for the boyz fandom in two days, just bought tix for bae jinyoung and getting tickets tomorrow for ab6ix! Wish me luck 😭
Sometimes merch opens before the concert (like 2-3 hours before) and sometimes it opens when doors open. It should be announced before the day of the concert
All this talk about the struggle of buying tickets feels so weird xD I once legit bought a ticket to a kpop concert two days before the concert :') I never buy tickets when they come on sale, I try to do it asap but I'm never really in a rush xD
I saw ATEEZ in Milan 5 days ago and it was one of the most tiring experience of my life. I woke up at 4:30am to be in front of the venue at 7am and wait until 7:30pm for the concert to start 😩😩 I hope that if bigger groups will come to Milan, they won’t go in such small venues with no “booked place”, otherwise it’s sooooo tiring
I have seen Ateez in Paris and it was pretty awful...people were really disrespectful were pushing so much and it was the war of who's filming the most xD but overall I had a great time seeing them meeting them and meeting instagram friends for the first time. I'll see SF9 next month :D the best one so far was Ravi in Brussels :') and B.A.P in Dusseldorf!!!!
Question! Going to see NCT next week in Georgia, it’s a smaller venue (capacity is 3000) and I’m in P3. The concert starts at 8 and I’m already behind P1 & 2 so essentially the back. How early should I get there? Also I’m 5’2 so will I be able to see or should I wear some heels even if it’ll kill my feet lol
does anyone have tips on buying merch specifically lightsticks during concerts? im seeing twice this weekend and i really want to get merch but have no idea how that part works
I always film a 30 second-1 minute clip of almost all of the songs + longer clips for special stages. Just so I can remember what was performed but not spend the entire concert filming
Pit is like....idk how to explain it. It’s a huge standing section while a seat is just a seat. You and everyone else in pit are all standing in the same area
I am curious. Are k-pop concerts crazy loud? As in is the music really loud or no? I have sensitive hearing and always take earplugs to concerts in case I need them and I was curious about that aspect of concerts in order to be prepared for that.
I’m going to see BP in May! I’m so excited it will be my 2nd (Kpop) concert ever, I saw BTS almost 4 years ago 🥺 I’m planning on trying to get tickets to see Twice bc they’re my ults 🥰
I have a question is there an age limit like they won’t let you in if ur under age or sum. Like if ur 12/13/14 or sum u need to go with an adult? Or do you bring ID or sum.

I prefer merch like that over clothing usually so I tend to not spend a lot on merch but even so a merch budget is definitely necessary!
I'M SEEING NCT 127 IN TORONTO IN MAY!! I'M SUPER EXCITED!! They are one of my ults so I really wanted to go see them live at least once!
Christine Nguyen
so uh how was it?
I am finalizing plans for Got7 in LA. Not just my 1st kpop concert but my 1st concert ever. I just never had the money or time before. I have time off and money for tickets only need to figure out travel/lodging plans. Wish me luck
I’m going to my first concert with my best friend in February 2020 and I’m so scared
I’m going to see SuperM
I’m also going to a superM concert!! Have fun 💕
Sailor ARMYzen oooo which city?!
H. G. Dallas
Sailor ARMYzen oooo awesome
I’m seeing SuperM on Jan 30 and it’s so exciting, it’s my first kpop concert so this helped a lot! Tysm 🥰
Thats so exciting!! I hope you have a great time at Super M!
I’m seeing ateez on Spain 🥺❤️
Hope you have the best time!
Wonhaed thank you ☺️
Aaahh this seems like so much fun 😭😭😭 I’ve never been to a Kpop concert yet but my friend was able to go to Astro’s this year and she had the time of her life. If she can go to a kpop concert, then there’s a chance I can go to one too!! ❤️But yeah buying tickets seems like the most stressful part, especially if you want the VVIP lol. I’ll probably look back on this video whenever my first concert will be✨💕
Yes I needed this cause I’m going to a NCT concert in May
Aaliyah Lopez OH MY GOSH! ME TOO!
Christine Nguyen omg really the one in la???may 12
Aaliyah Lopez I envy you!!! They’re my ults and I’m waiting for them to publish their european tour 😩😩
Jade 2muchSauce aww! And I’m really excited cause it will be my first concert
I’ve been so scared about the bts concert on the 4th because I’m alone to the concert so I hope everything goes well
Try finding a concert buddy on twitter. It's also really easy to make friends in line or inside.
i've been to so many concerts alone and it's fine
@@thelittlemissizzy6940 I need some tips like where do I go or what to bring
I’m going to see TXT and I’m still like excited
Me too!
this video was very helpful!! i'll probably be watching more of these videos in the next few months because i'm planning on going to kcon ny and tbh i'm terrified. nonetheless, i am beyond excited and hope that the presence of my non-kpop sister doesn't take away from my experience. i'm definitely going to give her a forewarning and apologize for anything i say/do during the concert lol
hi! lol have you been to an sf9 concert?
Half Serious advice for kpop concerts though: get a job at a hotel, so you can get those sweet hotel discounts, especially when the hotel is right across the street from the venue 🤣😎
i’m hoping to go to a monsta x concert in august
This is great for me i'm going to my first ever K-POP concert and also by myself. I'm seeing ENHYPEN in OCT.
i was first seeing nct in miami! but then bighit decided to drop some news about TXT having a showcase. one stop was to ORLANDO. no one comes here but i was so surprised and i HAD to take the opportunity. i was broke so i had to sell my nct ticket plus i was closer to orlando than i was to miami. i feel guilty about doing so but....at least i got hi touch for txt! i’ve only been to *one* kpop concert and it was wanna one in atlanta! glad they’re the first and glad i saw this for the first and last time 🥺💗
Yep im going to monsta x in 3 months
I’m genuinely so grateful I live in LA so I don’t have to worry about travel and boarding 🙏🏻
Omg you’re so lucky lol. The next time I move im moving to a place where kpop concerts are close by
I’ve been to twice wanna one and BTS concert and hallyupopfest which is like a Singapore kcon lol going for the boyz fandom in two days, just bought tix for bae jinyoung and getting tickets tomorrow for ab6ix! Wish me luck 😭
I’m trying to get tickets for txt tomorrow 😅 I’m stressed but this is my second kpop concert ticketing experience so I hope this goes well
I will go to my first concert in june in Paris! I'm sooo excited to see BTS, and I can't wait to see them perform from the new album as well!!
Same ! I’m going to the BTS concert in Chicago in about a week!
I'm going to NCT's concert in SJ! I think I'll be able to see them three times this year ^^
That’s awesome!! I hope you have a great time!
@@Wonhaed Thanks! I can't wait to see them! >.
Seeing SuperM in Januaryyyyy ^-^
I'm seeing them next month 😎😎
I’m going to see MONSTA X
haha just kidding the person I wanted to go with is uh 😳
I'm going to NCT concert in Houston this is my first concert so excited.
Hope you enjoy it!
@@chungusfungus2990 thanks
I’m seeing nct 127 in Miami soon but idk at what time should I go to buy the official goods
Sometimes merch opens before the concert (like 2-3 hours before) and sometimes it opens when doors open. It should be announced before the day of the concert
Mgirlpersonal thanks for the tips!
i was going to go until something came up! this is random but have fun for me :’)
WIN: D sure!
All this talk about the struggle of buying tickets feels so weird xD I once legit bought a ticket to a kpop concert two days before the concert :') I never buy tickets when they come on sale, I try to do it asap but I'm never really in a rush xD
ive seen got7 and day dis year ill see day6 again and g idle
I saw ATEEZ in Milan 5 days ago and it was one of the most tiring experience of my life. I woke up at 4:30am to be in front of the venue at 7am and wait until 7:30pm for the concert to start 😩😩 I hope that if bigger groups will come to Milan, they won’t go in such small venues with no “booked place”, otherwise it’s sooooo tiring
I can’t wait to see bts, Monsta X and hopefully nct127
I'M SEEING NCT IN NEW JERSEY
I have seen Ateez in Paris and it was pretty awful...people were really disrespectful were pushing so much and it was the war of who's filming the most xD but overall I had a great time seeing them meeting them and meeting instagram friends for the first time. I'll see SF9 next month :D the best one so far was Ravi in Brussels :') and B.A.P in Dusseldorf!!!!
can you do an updated version of this since we now live in a post apocalyptic world
Thank u so much!! ❤❤
I hope? To see stray kids in July bECAUSE THEY ANNOUNCED LONDON DATES AND I NEARLY DIED
I needed this so bad tysm! ✨💗
thank you so much ! i am going to blackpink in june and i am not prepared 😭
Same question tho
thank you for this video! super helpful 💗💗
I need to see this after they announced SF9 and SEVENTEEN are having a Free Concert in Dubai. Worse is I gots not friends
I am stressed with deciding what to record.
Because I don't wanna film half of the concert.
I always film a 30 second-1 minute clip of almost all of the songs + longer clips for special stages. Just so I can remember what was performed but not spend the entire concert filming
I am so heartbroken monsta x will not come to Europe this year:( i hope you will go in US
Anyway I WILL SEE ATEEZ IN 2 MONTHS AKSHOWJS
Im going to see bts at metlife on May 18th :)
That’s so exciting!! Have so much fun!
@@Wonhaed thanks !! I'm going with my friends
Joelle Brown same
@@tracycc3056 omg. What section are u sitting in?
Joelle Brown 128.and u?
What is the difference between pit and other seats at concerts? Can someone please explain that?
Pit is like....idk how to explain it. It’s a huge standing section while a seat is just a seat. You and everyone else in pit are all standing in the same area
I saw BTS at Wembley and now im seeing Day6 in London and i have no friends to go with :’)
I hope you still have a good time still though!!
I'm going to see CLC and IMFACT and the tickets are not more.. idk if i will surive at them😂
I will be seeing NCT 127 next month in Vancouver. lmao nct is like my 4th concert for this year and my wallet hates me a lot
I am curious. Are k-pop concerts crazy loud? As in is the music really loud or no?
I have sensitive hearing and always take earplugs to concerts in case I need them and I was curious about that aspect of concerts in order to be prepared for that.
SeekingtheTruthofGod They’re very loud
They’re SUPER loud
it is extremely loud. if you want to talk to a friend mid-concert, you literally have the scream to allow them to even hear you.
Do you have to bring an adult in the concert if your underage???
Not a super big meal
Me: eats a whole hotpot meal before BTS
can y’all help meeeee so I want to go to a (G) I-dle concert but I need help with the whole lightstick situation. Do they sell it at the venue?
My venue says no videos are allowed to be taken wat will happen if i film there? And do ppl just film anyway and its not a big deal? Help😅
Why am I even watching this, concert tips are rarely even relevant to the kpop concerts I go to and I've been to 15...
how do you transfer tickets?
IM SEEING GOT7 UWUWUWU
