@@hhblitzmix_johNoir1981 it really is! Oh hey not to bother but it'd be really cool to hear what you think of my mashup of Call Me and Atomic City, i'll keep listening to more of your remixes
I got to listen to Call Me /U2 mashup plus the Night Boat/New Religion. The ideas are there just need more practice mixing the songs. Tips: Need to make sure song is in the same key, tighten up matching the beat, and try to use instrumental parts or versions of the song as to not have 2 different vocals overlap.
@@NeonWolves57 also to add when mixing two songs as a mashup try removing/muting if you can one songs drum track while keeping the other. If the drums are two different styles between the songs it can make it sound real muddy in the mix. It’s important to get the beat matched and tempo between the two songs otherwise it will sound like two different rhythms competing against each other in the song and not sound like single rhythm track. Hope this helps.
@@hhblitzmix_johNoir1981 Thank you for listening to the mashups and for all your advice, and yeah i think the drums were the most frustrating to try to get right but had no software to make the mashups at the time. That won't be a problem anymore when i get back at it again at the end of the year. I'll be listening to your remixes til then and later i'll even take notes on your remixes so i can try to get the same clarity. Any software you suggest i use or buy? That'll be the most helpful advice i could ever get 😁🎶
