- This video is Part 1 of making this 4 1/4" x 6 1/4" Mini Album using the North Pole Sacks from Stampin' Up as the pages. NEAT!!! I'll walk you through making the album out of chipboard/cardboard, covering it with papers, making the hinge, attaching the treat bags as the pages, and adding a pocket at the end! We're just making the base album in this video - no decorating. Part 2 will come in the next week or so, once I figure out which pictures I'll be putting in this mini book and what theme I want it to have.
I also explain the measurements of the hinge system, so that you can create a custom-sized album of your own. I talk about hinges and gussets, and why you might want one or the other smaller or larger than what I'm making.
This album finished size is 4 1/4" x 6 1/4", with a 1 1/4" spine. Hinges are 1/2", and gussets are 1/4".
