So I've been doing this to my 3 year old as I put her to sleep. We always start our routine with Fatiha, Ayatul kursi, and 3 kuls, and then slow dhikr as I pat her to sleep. Once I notice her starting doze off, I softly repeat affirmations of her being loved, strong, kind, brave, etc. And it works. For a 3 year old, she has an incredible amount of self-awareness, alhamdulillah.
I started learning about about this topic four or five years ago, but without Allah’s words, it wasn’t complete. Alhamdulilah If only people understood how powerful Allah’s words are, how powerful the mind is and how to navigate through our feelings to get what we want using Allah’s words. Attaining Allah’s acceptance is the doorway to everything.

Hamdullillah brother, thank you for sharing this with others. Everything you explain in this channel reminds me of how I got through my depression. I was in very deep at a point that I had given up everything and estagfirullah I asked for euthanasia. At one point I remember praying to Allah to protect me from myself and to guide me towards knowledge. After a very dark period I started feeling the mercy and the love of Allah and I was overwhelmed by shame and gratitude. I remember feeling only bliss and suddenly life was beautiful again. Everything I wanted, I attracted. I could never really explain what happened to me and at some point I thought I had a psychoses but now I understand I just had a switch in brain waves. My body already knew how to heal itself and I only had to ask for it sincerely and be grateful for the change. Thank you for reminding me. May Allah bless you every day

What is even a step further is the understanding that the recitation of anything can add control to our breathing. bro, here's the thing. I tried to quit weed but if I don't smoke I can't focus on work for longer hours. Have anxiety attacks. I don't jerk off to porn or anything. Try to pray all 5 times and work on my business. Alhamdullialh. Is smoking weed still bad? from your perspective?
