How did you switched the chrome trim? I want to switch mine and I don’t no how… please help 😉
I ended up using the 3M adhesive and the chrome trim piece that I got on Amazon. As you can see from my mistakes I wasn’t able to fully remove the stock chrome trim which was on the air back cover. I hope that the video was helpful!
I did this job in 1 hour. You have to be patient and careful. The hardest part is braking the tabs and what seems to be wax or epoxy drops holding the ring down. Once you do that its easy. Just remember in which position the air bag itself was removed.

but how did you replace the silver ? there is not how you dit in the video
As I kind of showed in the beginning, I originally tried removing the silver trim with a heat gun and prying it off the wheel. This damage the airbag cover and I got the carbon fiber piece to cover up my mistake.
I would recommend trying to glue the new piece on top of the original trim. That is what I did!👍
Does this inhibit the function of the airbag? The normal action of the airbag is that it splits in the middle. So having the carbon sticker covering it would cause an issue if it was deployed or would it just blast it out the way?
To my understanding, the sticker would have come off in the result of an accident. On the back of the 3M carbon fiber, pens, there was a split line down the middle. I believe that lime was intended for to break into two pieces in case of an accident to allow for the airbag to come out cleanly.

Hmmm...I'm not positive, sadly!
Should have treated to yourself to one of our airbag covers! You have to remove the airbag and melt off the retaining clips from inside the cover to remove the trim btw

Oh my god, why didnt you watch a tutorial how to remove it:)? You have to dissasemble the airbag and do it from the inner side...
