- Hello! Thought I'd make a more calm crafting video. I made a custom artisan keycap spacebar of a subway sandwich.

That's amazing! In general the process was:
1. Constructing the sandwich out of clay
2. Use the clay sandwich to cast a silicone mold
3. Paint the meat, bread, and lettuce layers of the silicone mold
4. Pour the resin into the silicone mold?
Is that even in the ballpark?

It's actually a pretty common mold making technique! Cheap, and a pretty normal household object :)

Haha, the pasta roller helps with clay xD I haven't made more than one of this spacebar because it's pretty involved but this video should help anyone else figure out how to make it themselves!

What clay you use for sculpting
Could I ask where you get your clear caps to sculpt on?
Huh? She sculpted it from clay then covered it in silicone which made a silicone mold that she then filled out with resin
Do you use the smooth on dye powdered for the toasty buns?
what alternative for sculpting clay u recommend, i don't have oven :( ill tr whit clasic porcelain homemade but sadly it reduces 20% after air dry and don't stand good on the caps x-x! i think about epoxy clay but someone told its really hard to model it
