@thomasrodriguez5876 the only character arc I would say really was better was junpeis, and maybe mitsuri the rest were just basic and most of the social links were just mediocre, not saying it was a bad game I played it 3 times but when I moved to 4 I could really tell the differance they put into character arcs and social links, atleast that was my experience you could have had a differant perception then me which is fine too.

Any character is going to be broken if you tweak their stats beyond their normal levels. It's how consistently underwhelming she is across the game that limits her not the end game damage necessarily.

Junpei's overenthusiastic, perverted and hyperactive attitude, Yukari dissing the hell out of him (and everyone she can, really), Shinji being grouchy and letting everyone know about it instead of mostly low-key grumbling like he usually does, Akihiko finding fault with him, being all cop-like and incurring Mitsuru's wrath, Mitsuru starting all composed and ending up pissed of all people (her front-facing indignated portrait coupled with her sudden swearing is priceless), Aigis's stalkerishness and fixation towards Makoto dialed up to 11, Fuuka trying to mediate and then trying to ">:(" mediate harder... If Ken was present, he'd probably make himself out to be this capable and badass adult ("HaVe I mEnTiOnEd I LiKe mY cOfFeE bLaCk?"), and/or send veiled (or not-so-veiled?) death threats to Shinji (like Yukari, but something along the lines of "Makoto should obviously pick me. My spear can always use some sharpening. On an unrelated note, Shinjiro, I have the strangest feeling... like you won't be here next month. I wonder why"), or something like that.

Mitsuru gets Concentrate and Diamond dust which makes her basically the Ice version of Ann in P3R. It's still kinda useful, but the MC will almost always hit harder with Almighty damage than she can so I benched her personally. The one that got a surprising upgrade was Koromaru since Dark is now no longer insta kill only and he gets Debilitate. Honestly that + his Theurgy makes him way more useful than Mitsuru. He went from being pretty useless to one of the more useful party members.
My opinion on each party member: Door: Love him way more now I've actually played Reload. Still has the personality of a door tho. Yukari: Worst party member, bite me. Junpei: High A tier Aki: What does he even do...? Oh, I know: "His best" ty bud those Strike Amp gloves should make you good Fuuka: Theurgy and Tartarus Scan are basically all she's good for im sorry girl you're really trying... Oh and Gardening Mitsuru: B tier for Concentrate Blade Of Exe, and Neuro Slash being lowkey good Aigis: She's one of my favorites... Dog: Falls off in the end game but is VERY good against bosses that will last less than 3 turns. Tarukabellion + Bone is all im saying Ken: Better healer than Yukari and i will TELL you why if you ask Shinji: Lowkey good but not great. A worse Junpei that is consistently stronger than 80% of the team while he's around. Falls off later on and really could have used a Null Pierce in his moveset.

Bosses with no weakness can be cheesed. Brave Blade via Apt Pupil has a Mudoon's chance of knocking down an enemy and that's WITHOUT his Ability which increases his crit rate. He can also be given Tarukabellion shoes. Junpei has like a 50% chance to crit lol (Should be 43% or smth without Luck) Problems Ken solves: Magic Damage (Of which he does more than even Yukari bc Kougon is 350 and Garudyne is 220 which is a big enough difference that he STILL outdoes her) Bless element Elec element Healing (Which he does JUST AS WELL) The Karns (Makarkarn is the better of the two) Pierce damage (Vile A. On lockdown. This kid does it better than Yukari) *His Theurgy* (Even Blaze Of Life is about as good as Yukari's AOE concentrate anyways and I mean that.) High Speed Natural 10 SP a turn The part where High Speed + Invigorate means it can go off and Yukari's HARDLY EVER GOES OFF bc she's slow He has Dekaja for a bit there The part where his stats can still be buffed via cards and because of that he'll always be better bc he has room to grow

My opinion on each party member:
Door: Love him way more now I've actually played Reload. Still has the personality of a door tho.
Yukari: Worst party member, bite me.
Junpei: High A tier
Aki: What does he even do...? Oh, I know: "His best" ty bud those Strike Amp gloves should make you good
Fuuka: Theurgy and Tartarus Scan are basically all she's good for im sorry girl you're really trying... Oh and Gardening
Mitsuru: B tier for Concentrate Blade Of Exe, and Neuro Slash being lowkey good
Aigis: She's one of my favorites...
Dog: Falls off in the end game but is VERY good against bosses that will last less than 3 turns. Tarukabellion + Bone is all im saying
Ken: Better healer than Yukari and i will TELL you why if you ask
Shinji: Lowkey good but not great. A worse Junpei that is consistently stronger than 80% of the team while he's around. Falls off later on and really could have used a Null Pierce in his moveset.

Problems Yukari solves:
Magic damage (Ken does it better)
Wind element (Ah yes, ONE element, that the protag has to be the one to do better)
Healing (Very cheap healing! But only if you have the full amount of MP. If something costs 24, you HAVE to have 24 to cast it even though you get refunded 18 of it)
Sukunda (The dog does it for free)
Poison (The dog does it better)
Status healing (As if items don't do it better)
Bow and it's crit rate (Source Yumi makes her okay early game)
Problems Junpei solves:
Physical damage
Physical elements (THREE may I remind you)
Fire element
Consistently high-ish Speed
Crit rate (And a lot of it)
Let me remind you:
Via crits, any enemy without a Weakness technically has one to being crit. Bosses with no weakness can be cheesed. Brave Blade via Apt Pupil has a Mudoon's chance of knocking down an enemy and that's WITHOUT his Ability which increases his crit rate.
He can also be given Tarukabellion shoes.
Junpei has like a 50% chance to crit lol (Should be 43% or smth without Luck)
Problems Ken solves:
Magic Damage (Of which he does more than even Yukari bc Kougon is 350 and Garudyne is 220 which is a big enough difference that he STILL outdoes her)
Bless element
Elec element
Healing (Which he does JUST AS WELL)
The Karns (Makarkarn is the better of the two)
Pierce damage (Vile A. On lockdown. This kid does it better than Yukari)
*His Theurgy* (Even Blaze Of Life is about as good as Yukari's AOE concentrate anyways and I mean that.)
High Speed
Natural 10 SP a turn
The part where High Speed + Invigorate means it can go off and Yukari's HARDLY EVER GOES OFF bc she's slow
He has Dekaja for a bit there
The part where his stats can still be buffed via cards and because of that he'll always be better bc he has room to grow
First lobotomy now persona, why's this on my recommendation 😭
