Here is a quick reviews of this knife I ordered from OK Knives. Total cost shipped to my door was roughly $15. I was only able to access the Ok Knives website properly from my mobile phone. I used paypal to protect my financial information when purchasing. I have no affiliation with this company. Thanks for watching.
Most Ppl who complain about the knife steel on the clones don't even use their oem knives. They pay 130 for knife to just open packages or mail with it. Lol.
real and true. The only thing that people buying the tactical knives are using them for their military larp outfits
Thank you for the video, it was helpful!
I feel compelled to point out that with clones the writing on the blades is mimicking what is on the real knife in this case a benchmade bugout. So even though it says Cpm-s30v, sv90, d2 or whatever, that's not really what kind of blade you'll be holding. theyll usually be something like 8cr13mo..
the only knife I have from OK knives is the OK-81 and it's supposedly vg-10, but I dont think it's possible to export vg-10 from japan, and it hasn't held up like vg-10. but either way it is the best 20$ knife I have ever bought. so here I am thinking about trying some oftheir other knives, thanks again for your video!
that ban was lifted last summer. AUS10 and VG-10 is now being used to make knives in China
Great knife. Just as good as the real one at a fraction of the cost. Good review.
The axis locks are real soft. I already have vertical slop on several clones. They have better stainless locks for sale on ali. The fake damasteel is actually pretty top notch. Mine claims to be vg10 core and they don't say what the other steel is, it's definitely hard steel though, and holds a edge well like vg10. I can beat my real benchmades on the spine and they won't close, but every one of my clones you barely have to tap on the spines and they will close. Excellent beater knives though! I got a few to practice sharpening on belt sander lol. The D2 is legit too if it says real D2. Jufule and Lemifshe seem to be the best ones.
Thanks for that info Kirkbean. I haven't had any axis lock slop as of yet, but much like you I was kind of surprised at how well the knife holds an edge.
I've verified with OK and they've confirmed that the steel on their 533 clone is 8cr13mov. At least it's not 5cr.
S30V not 530. And the clones don’t use high end steal, the markings are fake. That’s why it’s so cheap. Great knife for $15 but it’s no real Benchmade
15 dollars or 120 dollars. Who cares about the steel? I only use this exact same 15 dollar OK knife for self defense.
@@Ryan_Rowdy_Rossi-r2d2c LMAO!
@@shaunsoto8011 What's so funny? It's true. How many people really use their pocket knives for actual work? I used to be a boxer. Try jabbing with one in your hand.
You would be correct about the steel markings as I misspoke in the video. I find it doubtful that the steel composition is actually S30V. Nonetheless, I have been beyond impressed with the edge holding ability of this knife. I have not had any issues with the axis lock either.
For future vids try getting more lighting on the knife itself, great vid tho
5 30V 😂😂😂... you mean S 30V. I love how he talks about it being the kind of steel you really want in a knife and he doesn't even know what the name of it is lol.
