Loved the video Tamera and you look so beautiful in the white outfit. However speaking as a British Indian person I actually found Filippo’s explanation of India a little offensive. While it was beautiful what he said about the spirituality and soul of India but his constant need to say India is not beautiful over and over! How you guys are European and what real beauty is in Europe (the long list of cities) You’re right…India is a third world country. However the constant emphasis was offensive to me. Thank you Tamera for intervening and mentioning the other cities you had visited and you found them beautiful

Tamara, I’m originally from india but haven’t been back in 25 years. You brought back memories ❤

India does offer a lot of luxury and vaganza not to mention one of the worlds best hotels are here and it only keeps getting better but u guys choose to ignore it and go with the stereotype... When he said skyline(26:15) ironically a beautiful skyline passed by anyways its everyone choice on what they wanna do but then please don't complaint...

Makhana is a type of seed derived from the Euryale ferox plant(water lily).Makhana also sometimes referred to as fox nuts or lotus seeds.They are excellent source of several important nutrients .
Actually there are many luxurious places in India to explore if one wants their trip to be like that be it Obroi Amar vilas Agra, ram bagh Palace jaipur, Falaknuma palace in Hyderabad or leela/ lake palace Udaipur, they also organise heritage tours to explore the royal luxurious culture of India. I remember a few years ago Victoria form theFrow came to India and she also was shocked as she didn't know that much Luxury even existed in India,she filmed her experience in vlogs too.

I'm Bosnian and my husband is Indian. We live in Florida. The vlog was great but too glamorous. Wish you had roamed the streets and local destinations
She was there on a press trip and tight schedule. Also just because she didn’t show it doesn’t mean she didn’t do it. There are plenty of other vlogs that show the not luxurious parts of India. Tamara’s channel focuses on luxury and she was there for the Dior show.

You looked STUNNING in that white outfit! The snack you loved in the beginning that looked and tasted like popcorn is actually Lotus seeds. They are very nutritional. My priest is from India 🇮🇳 and when I tell him I love you, he ‘adjusted’ as traditionally these words are only said between a Husband and Wife or Boyfriend and Girlfriend. Hello, Indian here!! If you are going to India, avoid going to Delhi and Agra. Visit Kerala, Goa, Mysore, Bangalore, Ladakh, Shimla, Gangtok, Dharamshala, etc.
Draga Tamara, bas si blistala kao i uvek, mi cesto putujemo za Indiju da pecemo belgium waffles na indiska vencanja i cesto radimo za Ambani family, u januaru smo bili u Antilli za veridbu Ananta, najmladjeg sina i verovatno za njihovo vencanje uskoro, pratim te vec neko vreme i to me opusta. Love your vlogs, Tamara! But disagree w characterization of India not being a luxe destination. It has some of the world's most beautiful palaces and buildings built centuries ago and you most certainly can do it luxe. Paris also has entire areas of low income neighborhoods and povety etc. Big cities like Mumbai perhaps don't capture it but Jaipur etc definitely does. Do yes, it is comparable in architecture to many European cities and perhaps surpass them in history and allure but there is also an equal portion of mess and intensity and often gets mixed up. When I think of India, I think of craftsmanship, architecture, colours, and vibrancy. It's incorrect to say you shouldn't come to India for beautiful cities. The whole point of the Ambani exhibit was to showcase India's richness to the world, the role it has played in global arts. It's quite surprising that you went to that exhibit and saw India's contribution to the world in these areas that then still thought it is not a place to luxury, craftsmanship, skill, and beauty. So that characterization was a bit of a miss imo.
How can something be luxury if a city of 40m people doesnt have luxurious hotels, chanel, hermes, doesnt have the dubai everything big apeal? Sure its beautiful but its just not that level if you see a palace and next to it is a slum
@@coasmo4girl Have you been to Paris? Homeless people and poverty are very much in your face there too. It is not too different but ofc proportionate to size, Paris is a much smaller city. And slums of Paris our hidden away. There are many slums in the UAE and Dubai, it's also hidden away. Also, India has elaborate architecture. The Taj Mahal is just a small piece of it. That is also what the Ambani's are trying to highlight. India's contribution to the arts and craftsmanship from Dior to the elaborate palaces that are all over the country. It was also the luxury destination for all things rich centuries ago before it was destroyed by colonization. But some of it still remains. Not understanding that is a miss imo.
Another wonderful journey in the exciting manifestations that are the lives of Tami and Fil. 🌹🌹 My first encounter with real Indian food was on a tiny island in Fiji (no roads, no cars, everything brought in by boat including water). For an entire month, I ate nothing but very spicy Indian food until my entire GI tract, from beginning to end, was a hot, spicy tunnel. 😂
Our curries in Fiji are a less spicier than India but tastes just as good. Hope you enjoyed your stay here...local food- fish in coconut milk and steamed vegetables are just as good so in case if you ever visit again please do try that as well, which might be gentler to the stomach.

I will say you can see suffering children everywhere even in Paris - sadly almost every country has underprivileged people. I live in NYC and some areas luxurious and fabulous and some are not, same in Paris. There are people and children who can be in unfortunate situations anywhere not just in Mumbai, India which happens to be one of the most populous cities in the world
