Loved this FD from the first day Shae & Vic debuted it. They dubbed it "heart attack" and it was easy to see why, gruelling pace to maintain. Definitely not a program that just any team could pull off but it suited Shae-Lynn and Victor to a tee. Even today, 25 years later, I still love the music, the choreography and the costuming (including their original turquoise outfits). This was a great competitive package that has stood the test of time.
All the programs that Christopher Dean has choreographed are intricate and innovative, as one would expect from an Olympic champion who earned straight 6.0s.
Chris & Jayne believe ANY kind of music can be danced to! Unlike the commentator here, who found it "unsuitable." It's not my fave, but made for a fantastic program.

Agree they were wonderful! They were together for a very long time as competitors. Maybe Viktor was tired of it and ready to move on. Sad, but it happens. Viktor is currently training hockey skaters on a pro team to skate better. And of course Shae Lynn is a well known figure skating choreographer. Pretty cool!

The content of this free dance is so far superior to anything else they've done. I quite like this dance as it was very ambitious.
