⚡️Follow-Along Lymph Boosting Routine!

  • Follow-along lymph flow boosting routine! Gentle enough to do daily for gently stimulating lymph flow, especially in the most abundant areas of lymph at the neck, armpits/chest, groin, knees, and elbows.
If you’re exhausted, have adrenal or thyroid concerns or just can’t handle a lot of exercise right now- you can still do this routine!
Question: How is it lymphatic? Exercising, in general, does increase lymphatic flow, but so does stretching + breathing deeply+ strategic muscle activation simultaneously. Example: squeezing the calf muscle when holding/breathing in different positions.
I learned last year that “slaps” also trigger lymph flow, as does stepping/tapping the foot, moving muscles at the armpit, stretching the neck and shoulders.
And so does reversing gravity while you flex and extend the leg + calf (as shown in the “awesome legs” move.) It creates an against-gravity “pull,” which can positively influence both your circulation and lymphatic flow (YES- the two work in tandem!)
It’s kind of like working with fascia- subtle changes and movement patterns over time can be quite effective.

Margaret, I have enjoyed both of these Lymphatic workouts..I really like the looks of that last move, but I don't know how to get into it!!! I am not limber enough...yet! The video skips at the point where you begin to position yourself. I would love to see this with a block or pillow so I can see how it works!

I needed this tonight. The gymnastics stretch really helped to stretch my inner thighs.

That was great! Nice choice for this sequence. I am going to try and do it ever day. I made it through posture power arms up to the head twist part so that is definite progress. Thanks again for another short workout.

Interesting routine - I liked the different moves in this one! When would you recommend doing this type of workout? I would love to see a suggested rotation incorporating the various types of T-tapp workouts.

Thanks. I like these short workouts. I think the the lower body moves will help with my puffy ankles.

I am so glad for the huge variety of videos you have created! Thank you! I was doing the T-Tapp Basic Workout Plus for a few years, then quit because of an ankle injury and big move, and have started up again with your videos that are so much more versatile and keep it interesting every day. Thank you!!! T-Tapp is awesome! Margaret Barry is also awesome ;)

That was fantastic! I am definitely incorporating this one into my "off days" I love that it will increase flexibility in areas I need to be stretching more consistently.

I love this! I did this sunday and was sweating so hard withing a few minutes, it worked me hard but at the same time was still gentle. Monday I realized my thighs were different. I didn't put it together until I did this again today, but the lymph boosting had helped my thighs. They had been puffier/bigger for most of 2020... (Not like normal). I wasn't overly active and knew that was part of it... But didn't know how to fix... Now I did start some loose t tapping recently but it really think this is what got my legs/thigh lymphs working. My legs felt more firm. Not like the squishy hello/marshmallowy my thighs had been feeling like for most of the year. Thank you! (I had a bought of tiredness all last week and didn't manage the 15 min workout just hoe downs, but as I gain energy I plan to do this for now as it's been really helping) thanks!

Really enjoyed this. Warms up my whole body. I really feel my core “weakness” and hamstring tightness in the legs apart, hands forward sitting exercise. Something to work on for sure.

Oh my! That made me sweat like I had done 30 minutes instead of 16! And I noticed I was super sore in places when we "slapped" ourselves. Nice choices of moves for lymph flow, too. I loved the variation!

Yay!! I’m so glad you liked it! ☺️I only learned about the “slaps” recently and it’s been super helpful!

@@mb.fitness How did you experience or see the helpfulness of the "slaps"? Was it something you felt or saw or both?

@@carolswett2809 I first learned it from Dr Perry of Stop Chasing Pain (highly recommend looking up his work!) I notice it helps me with stiffness and also lymph drainage overall!
