Grew up a pure metalhead. Self taught how to play guitar in my teens JUST so I could play my favorite breakdowns/riffs/songs/albums…it has always been the heavier the mf better 🤘🏻☠️ couple years into learning guitar, online buddy turned me on to music production with a cracked version of FL studio. And hell, the ‘heaviest Electronic Music’ with ‘distorted basslines’ I had heard of back in mid 2000’s was Hardcore or Hardstyle and all that good sht. Was playing rhythm guitar in a metal band near the end of highschool into college, but my earlier produced bass music tracks were essentially in the realm of.. ‘Happy Hardcore’ (old genre name lol) or ‘JumpUp’ or whatever they call it these days. Eventually, production slowly shifted to dubstep in the next 6 years as 2011 rolled around and we all remember that era. My sounds evolved a hell of alot in the almost 2 decades producing now. With it landing HARD at basically this style of bass music with deep, heavy metal influenced roots. 😈 You’ve definitely been my #1 influence over the last few years as far as production goes. And incorporating my band, music tastes, and guitar playing knowledge in the genre(s) I play, is a damn good feeling lol. Only thing Im pissed at is that I didn’t discover your music for myself until maybe 4-5 years ago, wish it was MUCH earlier 😂 Keep jamming and slapping together these brutal, killer tracks, dude! Been my main inspiration and motivation, to play more and produce more (middle finger to writers block) for the past year and moving forward. 🤘🏻This was a pit-worthy banger, my dude!
PhaseOne and Qoiet!!! Wish the first and second drop were different, it is just your signature sound but a little different so it needed a little more or something. The switch up in the second drop was sick, and the part around 2:20 was a better use of that synth I like it. Good song either way, hope you guys collab more in the future!
