@@darthrevan454 The only two farms that directly compete with each other are Hera and Ezra in cantina battles. Chopper comes from the cantina store, Zeb from GW store, Kanan from Arena Store, and Sabine from Hard battles (Sabine is the longest farm.) Generally you want to get Hera, then get Ezra, then Hera 4-5 star, then Ezra 7 star, then Hera 7 star. All the other members you'll just get to 7 star as fast as you can

I plan on putting Zetas in the whole team. Not a great pvp team to face meta but for PVE they will easily crush things with all those cleansing zetas

This is exactly what i was looking for. I just started this game a week ago today and heard they were my go to team at least for starting and i already gathered Chopper, Ezra and kanan so far, working on hera now but yeah, definitely the video i was looking for to continue progressing once i get the rest of the team together.

I use Phoenix sans Sabine in arena (old shard) and I disagree with some of your suggestions... Use tenacity on Kanan so he doesn't get stunned (or ability blocked) and is therefore able to use cleanse more frequently. Use speed on Chopper -- when facing R2 he is able to stun before R2 is able to act. Potency on Zeb is correct, but he hits HARD, so mods with damage+ are better than protection/health -- plus, he lasts quite a while with Kanan & Chopper protecting him. Your recommendations for Hera & Ezra (and Sabine) are good... Hera needs to be as fast as possible. Ezra needs speed and damage+.

GrantKP primary shortcoming is that AI doesn’t know how to properly use the team! It’s a fun team to use on offense, but there is definitely a learning curve.

This guide is still relevant. I would only add that new players should at least take phoenix to gear 11 for the ships as the very min , all 6 of them are pilots of 2 very good ships. That will be very long time so if you really really like them, you will have enough of them by the time you give them all gear 11. Don't go higher than that because in end game they cannot defeat many many teams. So if you new and pick up phoenix the second you decide this route also think of team you will swap after dropping phoenix. And btw many people drop phoenix at gear 7- gear 8 and do not bother with ships. But their ships are very very good in Akbar fleet so i recomend g11.

Just a side note - you can leave out sabine for some PVE mods. But for TB (at least phases 1 to 5) you want to leave out Ezra - you do not need his high dmg there. It is overall better to have Sabine's AOE that cannot be countered and bonus regen from Chopper+Zeb. And then you can use Ezra as a high damage dealer on Jedi/Rebel team. Cannot speak about p6 yet, as I did not manage to 6/6 with my current Phoenix team (hope to achieve this in 1-2 TB)

Try Sabine. You not be disappointed, I assure you. My Phoenix are not maxed (g10 hera, zeb, chopper, g11 sabine g9 Kanan) and with them I can 6/6 on auto Phase 1 through 5. And I use Ezra under zqgj. For P6 I still have to find out what to do. Probably I need them all g11.

I checked out the top 50 the other day, and FINALLY there’s only 1 Phoenix Squad left. Up until I was level 75, I would still have to go against Phoenix in the top twenty even. Finally Wiggs/Lando/Boba ST Han and Sith was popular, now everyone in the top 5 is Rex leads. Natural progression of the game, I guess.

I started another account and focused on Phoenix first due to them being able to run Emperor and Thrawn. I was able to sim the galactic war at the lower levels with them as well. I'm not 85 yet, ( currently 82 ) but I'm able to do decent dam with them in p2 tank.

They're the best squad for new players to 7*. Easily. And they are amazing in TB. Especially with choppers unique ability. And with Sabine they're not bad in raids with her exposing everybody.

As an almost f2p who finishes top 5 in fleet and top 50 in arena i can comfortably buy 3 refreshes of both kinds of energy. Just hitting 78 and want to get the ability challenge tier 3 done while building a phoenix squad for next Thrawn the currency i hate parting with most is the galactic war and cantina node farms sacrificed to hera and ezra. Chopper is the easiest by far
DarkTigerPro, I disagree greatly. I have Sabine at 5 stars with zeta, and she is a monster. Crit Chance + Offense Up for a whole team, up to whole team of enemies get Stagger and Exposed, I usually start with her and then the rest of the team easily finishes exposed enemies very fast with all those buffs.
My usual team now is Hera, Kanan, Sabine, Zeb, Chopper. great damage and survivability. And I switch Chopper for Ezra for the arena matches and the last tier of Galactic War. Works really great.

Yes, Sabine is my first zeta character at all, and I just love that I used it on her, it's a complete game changer from non-zeta team.
Btw, Warrior, was wondering why do you suggest so much potency on Zeb? From what I've read about potency vs tenacity, it's a simple formula of MAX(15, tenacity-potency). So even with 50% potency an enemy character should have at least 66% tenacity, which is really a lot, to have just 15+1=16% chance of resisting. I'd say, unless a character applies a turn meter down and is used for the raids where turn meter manipulation works, going above 50% potency is a total waste. 4 CD + 2 Potency would work much better there.

I'm just starting the game and I've been farming for Hera in the Cantina, then will be focusing on getting Ezra. For my regular energy, I've been focusing on Sabine through 1-A Hard. Is this the recommended start?

I found sabine slow to acquire. She's the last one for me to finish getting at all and I've been playing roughly a week. Still don't have her.
Warrior, if you were a new player, would you rather farm Phoenix team or go with Bobba, Stormtrooper Han, Biggs, Phasma, and others that you recommended in the F2P farming guide? I guess Phoenix team would be more successful in the arena at first, but in the long run maybe the old strategy is the best strategy... Thanks a lot!

It's been over a year since you posted this video. I've just started playing, and am now hitting the mod stage. In hindsight/with the meta potentially changing, is there any advice you'd alter here?

You stated that when characters who first debuted in animated Star Wars works are added into the game, their most current appearance must be used. However, does this apply to novel/video game characters too? For example, if Iden Versio were added into the game, would we get just one variation of her or multiple that reflect the different stages of her life?
Since Iden's primary story is between the Battle of Endor and the Battle of Jakku, that's the age we would get for her. We don't exactly know what she's been up to in TFA times, if she's even still alive, so I doubt they would use that version of her. I think Warrior meant that they will appear with the most current version that we have seen their primary story in, not necessarily a quick scene or something that shows them older for a brief time.
+Dragon Tiger Sword basically if they want to introduce a character into the game from a current season they only have a period of time to do it. So she might come into the game soon

The question now becomes, would she be the Imperial version that we see throughout the first half of Battlefront 2 or the Rebel version of her that we see in the last half. Seasons for shows like Rebels, they could technically introduce a new version of certain characters every year or season if they wanted, but Battlefront 2 isn't a show with seasons, it's a game, so... *shrug* And now that I think about it, this is probably the exact question the OG poster was asking, I think I misunderstood at first lol, so whoops, good question Dragon Tiger Sword.

Is there a max number where you shouldn’t bother adding certain mod values example Health, Protection,etc.? The reason I’m asking is if you have a triangle mod with high Protection Primary and want to switch it to Crit.Dam. Primary you obviously lose a significant % of Protection. When doesn’t it matter?
As long as one of your mods has protection as a primary you can swap a couple others for better primary stats like offense. Just don't get rid of all the protection
Decent video but no mention on the zetas?I feel like Sabines is the best the squad has, that zeta aoe is devestating.Also I use Sabine everywhere, I d say chopper is only good for TB later tiers.In raids noone on my squad of a crappy gear 8 dies before bosses enrage so you need to do as much dmg as possible.Same goes with GW, perfect squad for it, always full protection thanks to Zeb,I feel like only resistance beats the phoenix on GW.

hey Warrior...max set bonus is limited to 2 sets last time I checked so an all health mod build only gives you bonuses for 2 of those sets...not sure if anybody else pointed this out.
actually just checked out my own characters...max set bonus is based on each set reaching level 15 so it may be that any more than 2 health mods maxed at 15 maxes out the set bonus. Can you stack max set bonuses with 3 health sets maxed out at 15 or does the max set bonus only count once?
+James Erec it depends on the set some sets required fou,r some sets required two. For Health it only requires two so you can do three set bonuses

A good guild will help more than anything. But try to get characters to 7 * before moving on if possible

Warrior, I have another question for you. I keep noticing that when you list examples of PVE, you're putting GW in there, but aren't the enemy teams in GW comprised of player teams? So wouldn't that make GW more like PVP rather than PVE?

I played against a Hera Lead, with Ezra, Kanan, Sabine, and Palpatine in GW. It was actually really good. Would this be a viable team and if not, how could you change it. Thanks

What do mean by protection? There’s no mod called protection
The primary stats is called protection and 4 slots allow for the primary stat of protection

Chopper is NOT a tank!! So many people...but it’s right there on his description(unless it’s an error on the devs part). Yes he taunts like a tank, but he’s Support....what part of that can’t you see???
+Owen Cummings any character that taunts is a tank even if they're not classified as such. Just like there are many attackers who do massive damage but don't have the attacker classification

Yeah I am, because he’s still classified as a Support even tho he taunts. That’s not why, but party of it. It’s really because so many people call him a tank when the tag clearly says he’s a Support regardless of abilities. It bothers me, yes it does.
Owen Cummings you might be getting a tad syntax triggered but it does matter a little. I’ve seen vids and chats where ppl wrongly advise calling chopper with ezra to increase his prot. And Stand Alone in STR cares about tags so it’s best to keep your heap space clear.

I disagree when you say to
mod for protection. With Zebs unique, when you mod for health you are in essence also modding protection (given you don’t let zeb die). In other words you get more bang for your buck with health.

I'm F2P, And i see that I'm forced to make phoenix. Damn I hate them, because everyone has them. And OP synergy. Too OP. Shield regenartes in those amounts that it is impossible to kill them, some times with even strong compo.
If you can't beat it join it. Plus remember there's a reason why they have you get them

Idk, I've always found Chopper to be a bit lacking in both PVE and PVP. I tend to just not use him at all lol. But then again, I really don't have them all modded right yet either, maybe that will change when I swap around some mods later.

Also who is the ideal team for unlocking Thrawn? I have everyone except Chopper at gear 8 with fairly decent mods. Do you think that will be enough to unlock him?
I was able to beat it with chopperinstead of sabine all gear 8 except ezra at 9, none of them having any raid gear except ezra of course, all of them health mods with high speed offense and potency secondaries (varies at charachters). I beat with 7 tries (i was lucky😂). Also all of them had their uniques omega' d. Its most difficult to beat it with sabine because chopper increases greatly the survivability of the team but i think that you can do this with a couple tries. Also, you might need higher gear for sabine and ezra.
Are you talking about the 5 star or 7 star Thrawn? I just want to unlock him for now lol 7 star is a long ways down the road for me
It is possible to 7-star thrawn with g8 phoenix, and sabine instead of chopper (no zetas). It can take a lot of retries though.
I was talking about 7 star. You will be able to 6 star him if you have the stars on the phoenix easily with some tries if you have descent mods. Just dont give up and dont expect to win from the first day

EP (l) , vader, thrawn, boba fett and royal guard. Even 5 star thrawn is great at gear 9. Fracture kanan and kill ezra or hera.
It's pretty easy if you can stun them at very first.

Warrior Presents yes they need a rework but hk lead with r2d2,je,chopper and im aiming to get bb8 but as of now i swap between b2 & k2so and chopper puts in plenty of work, the 30% bonus attack happens so much and he crits alot he normally takes a ton of turns because of the turn meter gain, i run this team threw galactic war and it gets me between the 7th nod and the last before i lose, and im no where near max gear or star on any of them u should really give it a try urs are alot better then mine
It's all well and good making it sound easy when he probably spends hundreds or possibly thousands on this game helping him gear people. If people are just gonna do that then I see no point in playing
I know pretty much everybody I know is free-to-play and they follow this guide. You just sound kind of bitter and aren't actually taking the advice that the video is trying to provide
Warrior Presents it doesn't matter what mods u use on people these days anyway. You could have the mods u say to put on but if someone has ridiculous speed you're gonna lose lol speed mods ruined the game in my opinion
