Have tested it using evil eye. This archetype solves many of the evil eye problem such as target for your own pop effect. By using hakai monster and backrow you don't loose advantage. Extra distruption by effect of hakai link2 is nice addition and serziel can protect hakai link monster.
I already love this deck. It’s fun, but it generates no advantage, runs out of steam too quickly, and can’t topdeck it’s way out of a paper bag. It needs a themed Multirole or Super Rejuvenation or something.

Maybe try combining Hakai with Rokkets. Rokket Tracer, Striker Dragon and Sawnborrel Dragon can destroy Hakai Red and Blue to get Magatama out on the field and are pretty easy to acces.

I think it started really strong, normally you can see when konami wants to make a deck good, they give it a lot of floating, maybe a search eff or 2 and give it a few ways to disrupt your opponent, I think this deck will eventually shape up as something really powerfull
I am Wondering if you can bennefit from running a small package of the Evil Eye cards or Aleister. Seems that blue is your only normal summon, and either Aleister / Evil Eye cards are 1 card engines that gain your cards. Aleister can get popped, (and the restriction won't matter for fusion summons since Purgatrio is Fiend). Serziel with eye of Selene is a drident that makes the Link4 always live. Also, the drawback from serziel will end up being good with your own S/T triggers.
The biggest downside of this deck is easily that everything they do targets. If your opponent has targeting protection you can't use their effects to Link Summon or destroy them.
Use graydle eagle. Destroy the eagle, snatch a monster, SS the Hakai monster, link the two monsters. I was thinking trying this out with thousand eyes restrict. Instant fusion thousand eyes restrict, snatch a monster, SS a hakai by destroying the equip monster to the restrict. Link both monsters.
I disagree on the True Draco making the Hakai inconsistent. It's only made it much more consistent with me. And you end up popping the entire field regularly.

Agreed, but usually what happens in OCG happens in TCG. Salamangreat will probably lose Gazelle, for example. They're are over represented but i believe it's the weakest deck in the tier 1. Particularly i believe meta decks should give more space to other decks and the bans OCG had was somewhat good. If hakai prove's to be something over the top, not in OCG, but in TCG, they'll probably kill true draco to nerf hakai. I don't believe this is possible, but Yu-Gi-Oh players creativity don't cease to amaze me.

I don't think true kings work as well since hakai locks you out of special summoning anything besides fiends

Finally a new meta deck. Game was so stale with orcust/chaosthunder/striker/salamangreat.

OCG has diagram banned...I don't think they will keep it in TCG when hakai comes out.
