It is a very unusual deck... I do not understand a lot of the choices they made .. The y missed a lot of movies that would have made a bit more sense as well for things.. I really agree on the chariot card ..A hearse would have been perfect . The Talisman Oracle. deck the commenter mentioned below sounds really nice .. I am looking into it ..Great visit My friend ..
I was so looking forward to this deck, and it was such a disappointment that I have sold it. I only used it a couple of times, and I just couldn't enjoy it 💜💜💜🌛🌕🌜💜💜💜
@@goldenwolfhm .I am glad you could sell it .. the tools we use are so important to us that we need to make sure its something we can work with,, Well done
Sorry these were a bit disappointing for you. I agree with what you’ve said, missed opportunities here with this deck theme. I really don’t understand the choice for the Chariot card. I’ve watched loads of 🧛♀️ vampire films/shows & have no recollection of armadillo minions 🤷🏻♀️
@@goldenwolfhm I’m glad you were able to sell it. I was a bit sad thinking that you would always feel that disappointment when using the deck. I’ve just ordered a really interesting oracle deck called The Talisman Oracle. There are a few UA-cam videos about it. I think you might like it especially if you use sigils & magical symbols in your practice
@@goldenwolfhm I love the box made to look like a book 📖 & the tracing paper included to copy the sigils/talismans. I’m really excited for it to arrive, fingers crossed 🤞 it will be all that I’m hoping for
I'm a bit confused by the deck. There are so many classic horror movies. There is so much symbolism in classic horror movies and stories. I would have liked to see more of that. I'm also not sure that I understand the choices for the pip imagery. I do understand the use of Princess Anck-es-en-Amon for Judgement. It is quite appropriate. In the story of The Mummy, Imhotep was punished by being buried alive. As an Egyptian priest, it was forbidden that he take a princess for a lover. It was also forbidden to use his position of high priest to attempt to resurrect Princess Anck-es-en-Amon. Regardless of whether you take from the 1932 story or the more recent 1999 story, the priest and Princess Anck-es-en-Amon would have received harsh judgment for defying the Pharoah. And in the 1932 story, Helen Grosvenor, the woman Imhotep attempted to use as the vessel for resurrecting his lover, saved herself by calling upon and being judged by the Goddess Isis, who found her worthy. Isis destroyed the Scroll of Thoth, thus breaking Imhotep's means of his own resurrection. Sorry I got so wordy. I forgot to mention I do appreciate the video. It was interesting to see the deck, but I do not think this one is for me.
Thank you for that. I hadn't thought about it like that!. Never apologise to me as I love hearing what you have to say 💜💜💜 I couldn't get on with the deck. I have sold it to a friend. It was such a disappointment. So much of a wasted opportunity of an amazing deck ! 💜💜💜🌛🌕🌜💜💜💜
@@goldenwolfhm I agree with you. There was a lot of opportunity there because there are so many classics to pull symbolism and imagery from. It feels a bit like they stuck to just a few then found themselves having to really reach in places to find a subject for some of the cards. It is such a shame. I am sorry that the deck didn't work for you, but hopefully it's new home is exactly where it needs to be.
