Paimon could either die or leave us, but I don't think she will actually stay with us forever.
One thing that always intrigued me is how she's completely absent from the companion missions (the "dates" with various 4* characters), no one even mentions her and she doesn't appear in any photo.
WHAT IF these missions take place AFTER the end of the main story and, hypothetically speaking, Paimon gets erased from everyone's memory like Rukkhadevata and Scaramouche ?

Even if she's annoying, this flying little lavender melon baby is still my second favorite after Lumine, and she accompanying us from the start of the game
I even keeps requesting on every survey to make her toggleable permanent companion

@Saji_0 this theory of mine is based purely on what some characters say regarding what could Paimon do to us in the future and almost all of them are hinting that Paimon will turn against us.

@alexmok1178 as a HI3 player myself, I believe it's only a matter of time before one of Genshin protagonists dies. I believe Lisa will be the 1st one followed by Albedo when he'll transform to destroy Mondstadt.
