Lovely video! I bought my monstera in September, I believe. I’ve been waiting and waiting for it to start growing. I read online that they grow pretty quickly. 2 days ago I decided to do the organic banana fertilizer method and I misted the plant with some water. (Previously I had never mist any of my plants before) The next morning a new leaf popped out and now is beginning to form. This is pretty exciting I’m glad you were able to make a time lapse out of it! Thank you
Thank you soo much!! Yeah they do grow fast but I recently transferred this one into leca so the growth has been a little slow 🙈 glad you liked it!! Just be patient with yours and it’ll be worth it!!:) 🌿💚
it's usually just a mixture of excess water and minerals that the plant doesn't really need so it gets rid of it by forming these droplets :) (I think the scientific term is guttation)
I'm so impatient I almost want to unfurl the ones on the cusp of opening lol the anticipation
I had no idea they grow out already fenestrated. I thought the fenestration can happen even if they grow out as a solid leaf.

I just got my plant yesterday. Waiting for the new leaves after watching your time lapse
that’s awesome😊 I’m sure you’ll see them soon enough! It’s very satisfying 😌💚
Amazing such a beautiful leaf 😍😍😍
I have 2 that are so close! I've only had this plant for 2 weeks 🥰
damn! you lucky girl, you get to watch 2 unfurl at once!! 🥰 I hope my monstera does that too someday soon 💚
amazing, thank you for sharing!
How long did it take for the leaf to unravel
I have a leaf coming through now and it's taking its sweet time unraveling
it took a week! yours must have unraveled now, right? :)
Nice~~~🌱💚🌿💕
thank you so much!! :)
Hi. Do you show this mon in now, please.
My new leaf looks exactly the same as 9 days ago. Is there something wrong with my plant?
I read that it can take 1-7 weeks for a leaf to fully unfurl!

Why do they weep like that?
