Thank you so very much! My husband and i are putting together our plan as we get ready to purchase a motor yacht. Is this something you would be able to answer questions about? We have a unique business concept and cannot find anyone with knowledge about or insight to certain uncommon areas. Your positive energy as well as that of your guests was refreshing! I was able to take away so much valuable information
Hey guys ex saffa here, were based on the sunshine coast queenslsand Australia, were about to buy a leopard 48 and putting into charter with whitsunday escapes based at airlie beach, then after 4 years we are looking at taking it out and living aboard and opening a crew charter. Any tips or more videos you have?
Hey there! This seems like a good strategy however the Leopard 48 is a discontinued model, correct? I would rather get a newer model to start with so that you will have a newer model when you phase the boat out at the end of the charter contract. You will get a better charter rate on newer models when you charter the boat yourself. Also, boats generally need a lot more upkeep after about seven years depending on the use of it. But this is about the time that you may have to replace sails and other expensive equipment. We have so much information on our website about charter management. Check it out here catamaranguru.com/charter-management/
I live in NJ .. what schools do you recommend on the east coast to learn more about live aboard sailing? Some of the schools on your website no longer have a website..thanks

Are day charters or weekly/overnight charters more popular?
It depends where you do the day charters but not all boats qualify for day charter in the US
