What's a first visit like to see Dr. Suh, a Gonstead Chiropractor?
Dr. Suh goes over a thorough history which determines what potential nerves are not functioning properly and what potential structural issues there are.
Instrumentation shows temperature difference at altered structures therefore isolating potential structural issues that warrant a closer look.
Visualization shows us any abnormal structures and tissue changes, also indicates abnormal biomechanics.
Static Palpation helps reveal swollen tissues that are stabilizing and protecting structural areas as well as muscle spasms.
Motion Palpation evaluates biomechanical function and dysfunction on the structures.
Full Spine Structural Radiography / X-Rays help indicate potential biomechanical dysfunction.
Dr Suh combs through as much objective data and subjective data as possible, see what data correlates, visualize how trauma distorts and changes the biomechanics to the spine and impacts the patient's nerve system.
As we learn during the consultation, 4 years ago as a pedestrian, she got hit by a car and got thrown quite a distance. Fortunately, xrays and CT / CAT scan shows no fractures or other trauma. However since the accident, she has been experiencing hip pain, groin pain, both knee pain, car motion sickness where she can't last even one block, dizziness, and TMJ jaw pain. She also shares that they've been trying to get pregnant for the past 4-5 months without success.
Thinking process -- motion sickness, dizziness, TMJ pain is typically upper cervical / upper part of the neck. Infertility, hip pain, groin pain, both knee pain points to the sacrum.
Visualization, static palpation, and motion palpation confirms there are swelling, muscle spasm, and tenderness at the sacrum and the 1st cervical vertebra (Atlas). While there is biomechanical dysfunction at the middle dorsal vertebra region at the 6th Dorsal, there was no instrumentation reading at that level. Likewise for the 4th Lumbar vertebra. Full spine xray reveals the potential issues are the sacrum and atlas. Also biomechanically how the spine responded to the structural abnormalities, there's compensating changes to the 4th Lumbar and 6th Dorsal. Correcting either of them at this first visit would be ill-advised.
Collaborating all the data points to correct just the Atlas and Sacrum for this visit which are the major structural abnormalities and leave the compensations alone.
After the corrections, the obstructions to the nerves have been cleared and restored. Spinal biomechanics has also been restored. The results speak for themselves. When the patient reports pregnancy, a followup video will be posted.

Some chiropractors on here do the same adjustments for every patient. This guy seems to try to diagnose it properly which is the right approach instead of looking to make cracks just to get views. He appears to diagnose and treat the cause way better is the feeling i get

That is, until this particular patient opens her mouth. She should never speak or talk. Ever. I can’t imagine lasting more than 5 min on a date with her with out wanting to ditch her

Wonder if they were able to start a family :-) Great video, very informative!
When I was in labor with my kiddo the provider said she was “lodged funny in my pelvis” which is why I wouldn’t dilate past 8. I ended up having a cesarean. After watching this I wonder how different I would have been if I had gotten my pelvis adjusted prior

Mommy Dearest My Gonstead doctor was adjusting moms right up until delivery (I’d see them when going in for my appointments). These women did very well with delivery! It makes a big difference to help the pelvis stay balanced and keep things moving in the best direction.

What is the cost of an appointment? And how often does a patient have to return, or does this method fix permanently?

It all depends on the severity of the problem. Severe damage will take longer to correct than minor damage. No different to a 400 pound person will take longer to lose weight vs 225 pound person. For more information, call 212.486.9800

Hi :) On which sources do you base your information on miscarriage because of sacral misalignment on?

    • @SpecificChiropractic
      @SpecificChiropractic  6 років тому +3

Clinical experience, we have helped several women restore their nerve system and they were able to have children. Different nerve obstructions are responsible for different stages of miscarriages. Sacrum impedes initial implantation 0-2 weeks. 4L nerves for 0-20 weeks. After the 20th week, it's less likely to have a miscarriage.
