    Hey guys, so sorry for the confusion. This is a re-upload of yesterday's video in high quality. for some reason, yesterdays video uploaded at 480p and since we aren't from the stone age, I re-uploaded it correctly this time (:

      Alex, how do you plug in a splice sample and play it midi ? So each note would correspond to the piano

    Hey, so sometimes I feel like I am getting too complicated with my drops. Too many layers, too complicated in the drums, etc. Chasing that Illenium / Melodic Dubstep sound. I feel like listening to my drops over and over I get bored and continue to add new elements, but in the end the main idea is cloaked by fills and other sounds. This is a great drop, and you keep it simple. Do you think it is always better to cut the fat and keep it simple, or can there be benefits to chasing that complexity? Any advice? Thanks man

      less is more
      i like the rule of two
      two basses
      two leads
      two chord layers
      two snares
      and some white noise to fill things out
      the rest is just choosing quality sounds over crappy ones. i know what you mean

      Yoo it's actually pretty easy to make huge drops! You just need to look at the right place

    Hey Alex I purchased the orbital pack and I was wondering how you loaded all the sounds into serum so you could easily switch between them? I have been `Loading Preset` every time however it's very inefficient and time consuming D:

    • @ZapRain
      @ZapRain 3 роки тому +1

      You probably can save them into the user preset file (click save preset in Serum) and then search AlexRomeSounds in the list menu and they should be close to each other where you can switch between them easy. I’m not sure if that will work but you can try it.

    Anyone know the specs on the computer he uses? Storage, RAM, processor, dedicated graphics? My basic macbook pro model sometimes struggles to keep up with Logic and all the plugins

      hey, can´t answer your specific questions but let me tell you: my iMac has 8 GB RAM and after upgrading to Catalina my Logic Pro X went down the drain. It started to stutter and a special analyses prog told me I was running on the edge already, not even having added other plugIns. I tried to relieve the system by using an external sound-card via USB.... to no avail. I ended up re-installing, without Logic now, and buying a decent WIN PC with made to measure 64 GB RAM. Now I can work :-)

    Hey I was wondering if it is possible to make these synths without serum. Cause not everyone can afford serum u know

    • @noahlebel-turcotte4662
      @noahlebel-turcotte4662 4 роки тому +1

      Yep take every soft synth you want and learn it. Serum is not more magical than other’s but is very versatile. Or crack Serum its easy with the internet...
