- Magic Chess! In this video on the new magic chess season 18 I used the Magic Chess commander Chou skill 2 and used the meta synergy combo of Quartermaster. This new meta Chou strategy is easy to get 3* 5 cost units for easy mythical glory wins. Explained more in comments.

Hey guys, in this video I used the Chou commander skill 2. This skill makes it so that your chosen unit when it gets a kill gets 1 belt. Every 10 belts = 15 hp. This is currently the most popular synergy and strategy combo used by top 10 global players to push rank. The top 1/2/3 global use this combo 90% of the games we play.
This build is focused on getting level 9 and searching for 5 cost units similar to harper 1 where you want 3* legendary hero.
With this strategy I want quartermaster crystal early. I grab any unit at the start as most of the time I'm going to sell the unit so I can build up my interest early. If other players are using angela 2 in the game you can steal the mage, if you see a ling 2 steal the lancelot etc. I guarantee a quartermaster crystal by getting a lolita or aamon (2 cost quartermasters) and putting them as the only unit in. I have played this combo alot the past few days and I have never had a game where I did not get quartermaster. Sometimes you need to reroll a lot but it is ok.
In the early game you want to put your chou ability on the strongest unit you have. In the early game if you can then get 2 northern adventure so you can build economy faster.
Similar to Angela 3 lancer qm build start these runes are the best
Runes I use with this build -
Ravage of War (QM 80% 1 gold for takedown 2% equipment)
Premium Client II (45% free refresh)
Shiny Pouch (25 gold)
Unlimited Expansion (+10 gold per capacity increase)
Blazing Blade (every 3 attack splash damage)
Warriors Blessing (Crowd control immunity + 15% HP)
Gold Hunter (1-3 gold each kill)
At level 7 I shop for 4 quartermaster and 2* minsitthar. In games I get lucky and get zilong at lvl 7 then I skip 2* minsitthar. Once you get 2* minsitthar you can upgrade to level 8/9. If you are high hp you can level immediately to 9. If low then stay at 8 and get zilong before leveling up.
Once you get level 9 you will start searching for 5 cost heroes. in most games I sell my Zilong to put in brody + stun or gord + inferno but this game I decided to keep him because I got him to 3* and I had 3* gatot so I had enough damage.
Some games you will have
6 QM 3 stun brody
other games 6 QM 3 ele 2 inferno gord
My most common build in end game is 6 QM 3 stun brody, 2 inferno gord and gatot

Is this better or astro assassin?
this is way better but a LOT HARDER than you think.
but for me the chou 1 is more effective with any synergy especially astro assain, qm lancer and too op combo to nothern + runs 25 shiny gold or unlimited expension you can get level 9 fastly and it's a good enough to beat others while them still struggle to find hero and stuck at level below. can you try it for next content? thank you.

I have been spamming quarters and immortals because they were unpopular but here you are now, revealing qm as op. 😅
I believe they got OP since the revision of the Magic Crystal mechanic wherein it’s already based on the highest synergy among deployed units, unlike when it first came out when it was totally random.

Just tried this strategy and it was insane! Wow!🤯 But I think my personal hiccup in that game was I picked the Lance crystal over the QM crystal in the Fate Box!😅 Result, I just got 2nd as I lost to Guardian with hyper Irithel as damager.

Depending on situation yes. Early game/Mid game this synergy is a lot better. If you get a 3* 5 cost than late game it will likely be better. It will depend if enemy has 3* haya with crowd control immunity/winter truncheon and most likely will be positioning difference in who wins.
