I believe there was a tacit confirmation when the Dev's in an interview said that the Annihilation Gang wouldn't be playable for a long while, if ever. The comment was made well past the events in Penacony. Acknowledging the children are likely still alive, just now flung far into the future events.
Lucia is my most anticipated, especially since she reminds me of fire force, wonder if we will get a fire fighter faction. Also, Astra was just recently shown.
