I'm so glad this is a happy ending especially after everything Rayman and his friends have been made into slaves and their freedom was bleak and Rayman gave up hope if it wasn't for Globox and Ly Clark and everyone else I'm also glad Rayman didn't die for real it would've been too much to handle and too sad if he really did die he deserves his happy ending after everything he's been through I even thought he died too like they did the first time but thank goodness he's alive. The ending reminds me of the ending of Homeward Bound when Shadow the Dog comes and reunited with his boy Peter too
My big brother and I played this game all the time in the early 2000s. When we first beat it, he thought Rayman was saying “I love you, too” as he gave the kids a hug at 2:01 Good times 🥲
@@nathanthompson6720 It be interesting to see them plotting their next move we need something like that happening in The Sonic Series and The Spyro Series.
the graphics in this game were so awesome for its time. i remember one review i read for the dc version of this game had them saying something like, playing this game was like living in an interactive pixar movie, or something along those lines. i havent played this since its dc release so im not sure how well the graphics have aged. it wasnt just the graphics though, the whole cartoony art style was perfect and it helped that it all ran at a silky smooth 60 fps. imo, this game is a true classic
@marineninga Hey, Mr Dark was never beaten in Rayman..And if ya think about it, neither was Razorbeard or Andre. They all escaped. They could always make a sneaky comeback. :P
but Andre is a scared red Lum and Mr. dark i believe was destroyed in Rayman redemption a fan remake of the first Rayman game and razerbeared was in rayman M
I like Rayman 2 The Great Escape. It's a pretty good game. I haven't finished it for 100%, but I am over the half of the game. Currently I have three masks.
That made me cry the first time I saw it, and I'm not ashamed to admit it lol. Nah I gotta say, rayman 2 is probably my all time favorite, even if I don't quite get how Rayman survived, Razorbeard should come back sometime he was a good enemy.
I think something that makes rayman origins work so well is not only its pacing on giving you the new power ups so all the game is fresh but the fact that its actually 2D. Plus the art style makes the game fucking beautiful to look at.
The missile is there because he cared about Rayman and is now depressed because he would never meet Rayman again. I know it's a bit weird to say that a missile would have feelings, but... it's a magical world where anything is possible, anyway. :)
@da974Eita Yes, it depends on the platform you bought it on. Originally it was called Rayman 2: The Great Escape which made it onto PSX, DC, N64 (and possibly others), it was later converted for the PS2 and called Rayman Revolution
I loved this game as a child but i could never beat it! I always thought it was the longest game ever! And I remember being scared of the Cave of Bad dreams, and that one level before you meet Globox and that spider chases you. XD
@Troforso You dont need to have a babymind to love this game.... I Mean i have a very creative imagination and it could be about War and Fantasy and alot of other Stuff that pops up in my mind and rayman 2 really does it all for me
yes i agree, in R3 he was very different, arrogant even, in the other games it was obvious nothing could really get him down (apart from the start of rayman 2 but at the slightest glimpse of hope he was ok) but i think the reason R3 was so different was because micheal ancel was not involved with its production
Rayman Origins is coming out, it's supposed to be a prequel to Rayman 1, but there's a slight continuity error... Globox is in it :P If anywhere, I'd assume they met between Rayman 1 & 2. There's also a time travel themed Rabbids game coming out.
Yes, he flew into an ICBM launched from a sub, and all they recovered was a bolt. Later, the bolt came alive and started to try to roll out of the box it was in, so the little kid let it out the window and all the pieces started meeting up in Alaska or something.
I personally think they should be :3 I'm a hopeless romantic. Also, I agree with your LacMac and Betina theory. :3 I've supported that pairing since I first watched the series. :3 It's cute.
I think that rayman2 is one of the best games UBISOFT ever made... good history, good graphic (in that time), cool friends and cool music! I was dissapointed when Raving Rabbids came, i didnt like that so much as rayman 2 and 3! :D
I don't see how you can compare my persanol opinions to whining :/...Im not whining...Just expressing my appreciation for the old games is all thank you :)
@marineninga I didn't mean put them all into one game. I was just giving suggestions of who they could use in the real Rayman 4 if they ever make that.
hrm... one day i hope they will make a game like this in the rayman series, not does silly rabbids-.- what i love about the game is the music, the graphic and the story. it gives you this alone fielling: R.I.P. rayman...

I agree with you. There needs to be a real Rayman 4. With out those damn Rabbids. They were ok at first but I want Rayman back. D: I still remeber Ubi Soft promising us a platformer...I hope they didn't mean that Rabbid Platformer...>.>
I love how you see at 0:53 murphy from the back because his model is constantly smiling
This dude is on lums all the time
Awwwwwwww even Rayman's horse missle is there too.

0:42 Saddest moment of my childhood
1:14 Most WTF moment of my childhood
1:30 Happiest moment of my childhood
I was obsessed with this game as a child... nostalgia level 10
That seems to happen with Rayman a lot.
Pretty much every main villain he defeats either gets away or revives themselves.
That's true

does anyone notice, when the prison ship gets destroyed, it turns into a normal pirate ship when it blows up,
Oh I see, thank for pointing that out

Yes, by now, I have finished Rayman 2 The Great Escape. I have finished it several times, actually. 🙂
An exellent description of the series.
the music is just awesome its what makes this game superiour to all the games and it also makes this game fun
That made me cry the first time I saw it, and I'm not ashamed to admit it lol.
Nah I gotta say, rayman 2 is probably my all time favorite, even if I don't quite get how Rayman survived, Razorbeard should come back sometime he was a good enemy.
this is why this game ruled. a hero who would give up his life for his friends
I wonder if Razorbeard actually got out in time.
He did.
This ending is pretty tear jerking for me
THIS FUCKING LEVEL! ALL THE FUKING RAGE AND FRUSTRATION AS KID!!!!
I fucking cried as a kid in this ending
hearing the sounds of this game after 5 years made me think of my childhood playing this on an old nintendo 64
I think I almost cried when I first saw this.
Love this agme!

Rayman 2. Made my Childhood.
I'll have to say that Mario and Rayman are all time classics, and they remain to be classics too...
Love this ending, wish they would make a sequel where RazorBeard returns
my favourite game......finished several of times

i loved that game! a happy ending..

this is rayman revolution... in rayman 2 you see rayman's shoe flying away
Ps2 didn't have jiberish voice
@@Ryomensukunahj it did, it's called "Raymanian" in the language settings
I remember that in Rayman 3 I found a secret place where I saw a statue of Ly, the fairy
Rayman deserves remastered versions of his games especially Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc same as Sonic.
yes i agree, in R3 he was very different, arrogant even, in the other games it was obvious nothing could really get him down (apart from the start of rayman 2 but at the slightest glimpse of hope he was ok) but i think the reason R3 was so different was because micheal ancel was not involved with its production

loved this game
I'm just playing it on my DC, I am at 48% at the moment. Cool game, cool level design
I never ever found out what happened in the end until now. I just couldn't defeat the final boss.
Oh, I remember, that was a hidden site in the Hoodlum HQ. But the pirates I remember were dummies in a very alive position, with no lava around.
its my favourite rayman game
i love it =)
The music is god tier

Aww, don't be sad, Ly!
i only bought the 3ds one because i played it on the N64 and made me childhood along with paper mario ocarina of time and mario 64
@ReApEr2298 I agree with you that raving rabbids suck, but Hoodlum Havoc was pretty cool, too...
I cried at the end of the game:)
Rayman was the my first RPG too.......gooooooooood times.
Rayman isn't an RPG. None of his games are RPG
Yes, he flew into an ICBM launched from a sub, and all they recovered was a bolt. Later, the bolt came alive and started to try to roll out of the box it was in, so the little kid let it out the window and all the pieces started meeting up in Alaska or something.
From 0:43 to 1:13 reminds me of the 8th Pokemon movie where Ash's pokemon in tears (even Grovyle!) over the Tree "eating" him
Rayman:this was an epic adventure!
in all of the Rayman Game Series, all of the main bosses havent died yet. Andre, Razorbeard, and Mr, Dark or watever...
they shud go on with it
Andre is just a red lum again so he's no threat to anyone now.
Accualy I say you are right,I tought they were done for, they could strike in rayman 5
It's strange how they just abandond all of the people who helped rayman in Hudlum Havoc.
this is the best of all the rayman games my opinian
"So thats where my shoes were!"

PS1
PS2

@jodexgeorgexchlo he is in rayman 3 go to the hoodlum headquaters and then go to the secret room there is he and his robots frozen

it got mixed reviews, yes, but it's still a decent port
rayman origins must of been your night in shining armor
@kakao44 did rayman M actually have a plot to it or was it just fighting and racing?
@VailyPivot Well at least now we have Rayman Origins and it is bad ass
Omg, I forgot this happened! The shoe made me laugh when I was young.
this game was sooo hard when i was a kid...
@Matias7Pochito I just replayed the game, and I am 18 in less than a month. Still a great game, just a bit silly.
@kakao44 there should be another game the same style as Rayman 2 and 3 with Razorbeard again
brilliant
@marineninga I didn't mean put them all into one game. I was just giving suggestions of who they could use in the real Rayman 4 if they ever make that.
Thinking back on it now, doesn’t this imply Razorbeard is still alive and out there somewhere..? 🤔

I love Rayman games! But the frist is still my favorite. of course i still hacent made it passed like, the 6th level so...
I think the tv series was meant to happen before Rayman 2.
