WOW...by far the best caravan on Fraser island vid ive ever seen on you-tube for ages .We have been to Fraser many times and we always make our way to the sandy cape you guys are a great team you work together well all the recoveries were real and you didn't try to hide the fact that you were stuck first honest real off road caravan vid iv'e seen love it griffo and kess big lap

Hi guys, love the video! Just an FYI, being a Hervey bay local and having been to Fraser many times, (Father-in-law was also a tour bus driver on Fraser for 16 years) the correct pronunciation of Wathumba is "Watoomba". Don't worry too much, everyone gets it wrong.

Everyone tells you that you can’t do it, but what do they know unless they have done it for them selves.. We have been towing our 20ft van Around Aus for the past year & if we listened to all the “pro’s” we would have missed so much. Our destination highlight towing was making it to Honeymoon bay north of the gib in the Kimberly. We’re currently camped at inskip on our way north & the latest we have been told by someone who has no experience towing is we won’t make it up the PDR to Bramwell station lol. Might see you at the tip😏
Congratulations on the gear guys. The vans look awesome. Im all for testing the product in tough conditions but that track out to Woralie CK would have been completely stuffed after you guys went through. Maybe testing to that extent is a bit much? Id just hate to see us all kicked off Fraser, its such an awesome place. Great vid and Im interested in the expedition series when we upgrade next.

A standard family with a caravan moving from east to west at Frazer island is a definite breaker. Those heavy caravans will destroy Frazer Island.

Also, that big caravan is inappropriate in FI inland tracks. Sure its for the purposes of RnD, however, would anyone really tow their 18footer vans in there? Maybe, testing where it is appropriate would be better. You wouldn't damage the tracks. But, yeah, nice vid and great rigs.
It was a good trip but I was really hoping that you would showcase your products more...
Need bigger tyres on the Rok, one it lifts the body off the sand (slightly), two, you have the power!
The problem with those trailers in the thick sand is that they don't track with the tow vehicle so plough there own new route = extra resistance... See 19:27
Ever thought of electric motors on the trailer wheels. Take some of the drag off the truck when crawling around.
What tires pressures were you running through Ngala Rocks? And how heavy was your lightest caravan?

Love watching the videos guys! Can I add some VERY positive criticism, Dave speaks clearly and slowly and I’m sorry Matt but you’re the opposite! I’m only saying this because I’m guessing there’s a lot of grey nomads that love your films (and no doubt your product) but are probably too polite to say anything (and I’m only a young fella) forgive me, tear strips off me, but I’m just putting it out there as a keen follower of your videos who hopes everyone else enjoys them as much as we do 👍👍
absolutely crazy to drive with these cars on such a beautiful island . it should be forbidden to drive with any vehicle on this island !.

You do realised the entire island was logged and mined back in the day don’t you? I’m sure a few 4wd tracks are causing far less stress.
