We all know that Hermes is one of the most prestigious brands in the world of fashion. And for good reason: their items are insanely high-quality and it's history is steeped in luxury.
We could talk for hours about the iconic Birkin and Kelly bags alone. But lately, there's been a noticeable shift in people's perception of the brand, and it's hard to ignore.

I’ve got many bags from Hermès and it’s sad to experience how it’s becoming. Every year, it’s getting harder and I absolutely don’t feel appreciated as a customer who truly love the brand as a whole. I can say that I’m not under the Hermès spell anymore. The bags are the best quality but I’m not interested to feel that they always making me a favor, it’s getting ridiculous. I prefer to just walk away and explore all the other brands that really want my business. I’m pretty sure , there are many of us and one day, they will realize they are losing their core customers over the ones that just want the bags.

Omg yes mine(authentic) has a odor inside too! Idk what it is bcus none of my other *esluxy* bags have an odor. Called lv and they said it was normal and that I could wipe the inside with a damp cloth.I also thought the lining was suede but it is actually microfiber so I'm going to look up ways to remove odors out of microfiber cus the smell stops me from using it as much.
I totally agree. I’ve been buying this brand for 20 years, literally since I was very young and picked up my first Kelly in St Barths. It was a civilized and enjoyable experience to shop at Hermes, both here and abroad. As time went by, however, I noticed a change in attitude and culture, especially in the States but also, sadly, in Paris. The clientele around me seemed so thirsty and grasping that I actually felt uneasy being seen among the desperados who plan their outfit to garner approval. The staff showed little interest or regard for customers, likely assuming that we all just want “quota bags.”
It made me want to wear a sign “I’m not here to grovel for a K/B, I just want to buy a tie for my husband”
Well there are other ties, Ferragamo are similar, and I have enough bags, belts, scarves, etc & prefer Italian shoes. So they lost a customer. And while they may not care today, it’s going to leave a mark in the long run. Also, some of the celebs carrying Birkins are not exactly elegant.

I still love my LV reverse monogramand *gtdupe* clutch! lt's versatile, fits a variety of items,and is definitely a workhorse! l think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof thatit's already a classic.

More than 9 months ago I swore I would never return to Hermés stores in general, especially the one in Cannes, (spent like 10k) and until now dont have any birkin or kelly they said to me "we dont take wish list sorry" the saleswomen are unbearable, I will not return to my home store in America either. I have made big jewelry and orans purchases online and I soooooo feel good, much better than giving anything to those insufferable saleswomen. When I had my leather appointment in Paris, I asked for a Constance 24 gold and gold and offered me a Constance light blue that I did really want, so I asked a kelly BIG MISTAKE!! they invented they dont have it!!! yeah sure in Paris, I came out with the 18 constance, I love the bag now but still, the experience was totally sad...

There's a psychological side to it. I can confirm the feeling just isn't the same when you're unpacking a dupe, compared to an authentic, handcrafted piece. For me, its like a journey; opening the package, then the box, taking off the paper, layer by layer, smelling the leather... Ahh, you just CAN'T beat that! The only problem is your wallet is a lot thinner afterwardsEven though i've experienced both scenarios, i still end up buying a *esluxy* .
It’s not a marketing strategy at all but a genius sales strategy. They don’t have to spend much on marketing at all bec their sales strategy works on its own.

It is totally a marketing strategy. It called word of mouth and using influencers without paying them. There are 1000s of YTers and IGers are talking about the Hermes game. Which make people want to go on an Hermes “journey” causing them to spend thousands with no guarantee of a Birkin or Kelly even at 2:1 spending.
Their sales strategy is older than YT and influencers. Those talk about Hermes for the past couple of years only but Hermes has been doing this for a very long time now. More than 20 years.
I recommend Hermes vintage. No drama best quality

I have a replica piece in damier ebene its 6 ring key clay that looks really good after 4 years canvas look perfect and I also have a authentic mini pouchette that after 6 months of sitting in my purse the corners began to fade turned black sent pics to my sales associate he sent them for review they said that it was just normal wear and tear . After a Year that piece is fading everywhere and the chain is fading also after having it 3 year and it looks worse then any fake piece. So now I prefer my small leather good to be *esluxy* because I’ll never purchased a small leather good from Louis Vuitton again and pay that much for them to tell you that it’s just regular wear and tear.
ReSee and SacLab both based in Europe have good vintage pieces! And a strong authentication process
What do you think about Delvaux? Quality as good as H?
Both of them are highly regarded luxury brands, but they each have their own strengths and might appeal to different preferences ❤️

Btw, although I m not in your Inner circle, but I read all your tips, watched all your videos, bought your roadmaps…and guess what!!! I was able to purchase a Picotin with gold hardware at Hermes locally without any pre-spend at all!! And it was even my first time going into an Hermes shop! 🥳🥳
And that’s not the end!!! The next time I went to another H local store, I was offered a mini Roulis in crocs but I politely declined. Then!!! Next time I was offered a Constance to go in gold colour with gold hardware!!! And of course without any pre-spend!! Well….if you call a mini pop necklace a pre-spend, yes then pre-spend 🤣🤣
From what I see, many people in the Hermes Facebook group don't realize that they are becoming resellers of Hermes and its products. They buy the products with their own money, some even with their future savings, at full price and then sell them at a loss. Hermes is just making profit from us. So many people fall down this rabbit hole because they follow the Hermes trend and hype. It's so sad.
You know it’s true now. I don’t really read these groups but the other day they had a post about me so I went down the rabbit hole and I was SHOCKED to see the resale prices there. I couldn’t believe how much they dropped it’s insane

Hermes on Madison is by far the worse experience - Terrance should be fired for his arrogance hahaha instead of spending 10/20/30K to then buy 15K bag we can get birkin / kelly at few K more the color we love, the leather we want etc without kissing asses
If I could buy 100% authentic from somewhere I would for sure
