- Here's the Warlord Marder III Ausf. H in 28mm scale. This is quite a detailed model with a lot of parts to add... I enjoyed the build process and I think the end result is quite good.

I love these Marders!
Looks Mighty Awesome!
I think these open topped vehicles just look wrong at the gaming table with no crew. Even if the crew sculpt and moulding looks really bad sometimes.
The bars are support brackets to hold the gun to the shield. The bar in the center is used when in transport holding the gun in place, the wire box on the rear is for stopping rounds flying off the vehicle when firing, plus it's crew seats too. All the outside bars are for a canvas tarp for bad weather. The gun is actually a Soviet 76mm anti tank gun the Germans captured in the 1,000s and it was such a great gun, they put it on several tank destroyers.
The little stick with the ring on top in front of the driver was his sight the bow machine gun . It could be locked in place and the driver could then aim and fire the mg . Its an early war thing idea , the US M3 Lee and very ealy Shermans had the same kind of set up (
I got to ride in one of these today!
I might be a little bit jealous!
I won a contest at a local Museum. This was part of the award as well as meeting The Chieftan
@@HerbertErpaderp me too
I just built this and it was a bit frustrating at times, as the instructions are not as good as one might hope. Your video helped a lot, though, so thank you !
Nice! I'm glad it was helpful.
Very, very cool. It would be very interesting if you added rope as you suggested or added a tarp or camo net on the mounting poles above the fighting compartment
I think I'd model the commander outside the vehicle searching for his targets. Just to show more of the inside. It probably wouldn't move much. So maybe not look too weird...otherwise it looks fun! Hopefully they'll do the mid mount marder III
Another fun and interesting video as always!
Herbert, your Glowstone block is going to set off the TNT.
That part on the front is the gun resting hook, it was used to hold the gun while it was not in use
Great vid mate very fun to watch and I'm glad I'm not the only one that doesn't know what things are
I'm pretty sure those two little fiddly bits at the 12:15 mark were antenna mounts.
I always mess up on my models The fitting the tracks together. There always Crooked or Not long enough. I just messed up on A hetzer But I’m building the marder 3 next After I finish my sdkfz 251/9 Stummel. I love your videos and you always point out the flaws and how to rectify them!
I bought the Zug of this last month, such a beautiful kit (even if I've already broken 2 out of 6 of the canvas cover poles...)
I'm not surprised those parts would beak so easily.
Thanks used your video to build a Plastic Soldier company 1/72 Marder kit as obviously made by the same people . A realy good kit but the instructions I was given were highly lacking
I hate that any of those models aren't sold I my country
I think it's the Ausf G with the pak 36 not the Ausf H
Can anyone tell me if the crew are the same as Warlord's infantry? I didn't want to use the crew member on their Churchill as it was more like 25mm.
"Fiddly bits and lollypop sticks!"
Noice!
I don't think that is a Marder 3 H. It looks like a Marder 3 Sd.Kfz. 139.
Hayden Man you are correct.
Yes, colloquially we call this the Marder III 76.
The only problem is, that's not a H model.
I would have thought warlord would have sorted that.
What is 28mm scale? Is it the same as 1/72 or 1/76?
1/56 scale in this case
Is it the same as a 1/48 kit I am not sure of this scale?
Its roughly 1/56th scale.
このキットの残念な所は近所で売ってない事ですかね?使いみちはいろいろとあると想いますし種類も豊富なので後は簡単に買えれば言うことないと想いますよ?
yes got resen one and if think of ues ing it as 4ok dont 4ok 135th scale this 157th and mutch smailler yes thanks to trew 28m scale war lord tanks are off my list and darn thare good kits but scale just not right GW hiroic scale 28mm and shows in the tanks still good kits i think if ues the troop thay need kit bash with difent army of WW 2 to do IGS that my thing on it
jesus christ this gave me a stroke
But you never paint them
Except for the times I do. I do a painting video once a month at least.
