Why do the English call čevapčiči, the čevapčiči sausage? It s not a sausage, just rolled minced meat. Sarajevki čevapi so da best!
I agree but I had to put something to make it make sense to english speakers
Hey, we got something similar like that in Turkey too. We called it 'sucuk'. It feels so nice when I hear countries have something in common by the way greetings from Turkey.
@@ethanrohitmir7818 sucuk literally just means sausage it can be any sausage

Most war aestetics style vids suck. Wasnt hard to make something actually decent if you know about the conflict.

I love this, I always find footage of the Yugoslav war interesting ❤️

This clip is a masterpiece of the balkan culture the last 150 years...
Hurts to see Yugoslavia break up
Yeah man, it just breaks me up.
I dont care if this is stupid, this is staying.

Would love to seen one on Grozny. Would be interested in the choice of music if one was made.
There are a couple of videos on grozny

Knew about this one. Thanks man for finding the War Aesthetics reupload. Was thinking of a more similar version to what Oxide has done here, where you get a view through history. When it starts and when it ends.
Grozny was just sad and brutal, compared to Sarajevo. Sarajevo had a funny feeling with some funky people taking part of it.
(This is only my opinion don’t get mad, Sarajevo was also brutal)
Dear god this is excellent, the footage and music blend so well, god bless oxide
my uncle went there as UN peacekeeper. he got pretty bad ptsd from the things he saw. He was also under armed since he got issued a uzi with 1 spare mag. He told me a story once of opfor holding prisoners behind a double fence and they were clearly starved. And my uncle wasn't allowed to feed them despite there being truckloads of food there. he also saw a babies head in a pot of boiling water with the mother hysterically crying in a corner while covered in her babies blood.
nice
UN didnt really help at srebrenica since they escaped leaving the poor civilians...

Interesting analogy. To the people who fought over Sarajevo then, it might as well be Jerusalem indeed
@@quangcaodo8864 Good point, cause Sarajevo is called an European Jerusalem. Muslims, Jews, Catholics and Orthodox living together.
Greetings to my Bosnian brothers and sisters, my grandfather's father also migrated at the end of 1890s. Unfortunately, it is a geography where war and events never end :(

This may be one of your best videos yet, amazing job.
Had a history teacher in high school who was with the 82nd Airborne near Sarajevo. He told me about the shelling from the hills into the city. He apparently also came across some old 88mm Flak guns set up in an old factory...

Amazingly brutal video. It really highlights the pure insanity of chaos of the Balkans in the 90s. My father served 2 tours in Bosnia with NATO in the Canadian forces and never really came back the same after.
