This series is so good. When a new episode is up, I don't watch it right away. I savour the moment and pick the perfect opportunity. Get some snacks, pour myself a glass of wine. Worth it every time!!
When you upload I invite all of my brothers over to my house and we watch it together just like we used to crowd around our parents computer to play MapleStory together as kids. This is a special series for bringing me and my family that feeling back. Thanks mate, we'll be here for next upload!

Ex crusader here. What you can do is to lure all the spiders to a wall, and teleport to the other side. You can hit the spiders through the wall. Your side of the wall will have some spiders but overall I think you'll save on pots and survivability
I tried it! It seriously saves on potions. I ended up favoring the routing more though just cause I like being able to drop between the map's legs and lure again. Took a bit more damage than I needed to to save a few hours of grinding
Regarding the red portal, its a warp to Ariant, after you complete the Ariant questline you can buy desert coins from Manji to use the warp. Its a MapleLegands thing i believe.
Interesting! I never would've guessed. The portal text mentions an "offering" so I was dropping boar iron and mesos lolol

*THE LEGEND. RETURNS.* Also watched your series like 10 times over. Awesome guides! (I'm doing it on "Royals" which is admittedly a lot more forgiving. Still a fun change of pace!) "Dexless" definitely forces you to strategize more, and thus, to interract with cool quests, mechanics, potions, drops, etc. a regular warrior wouldn't ever bother with.
You're so right! I love how much of the game you get to play (and feel rewarded for) when you have that extra layer of requirements. How far in are you?

@@tujou Bring lots of potions haha, honestly there's not a whole lot to it other than the massive HP bars. The 1/1 feels scary but you're immune for the next second so it's not that bad. NLC potions are great for both HP/MP healing. Paying attention is the key to success. Power Stance is a huge quality of life upgrade, especially on upper arms. Lower arms you should be hitting arms on both sides at the same time by standing off center. Since damage might be an issue for you, you're going to want all cures as well.

For a question-by-question basis, you can use Mrsoupman's accuracy calculator on github. That's what I used to make the spreadsheet I use in my videos. One day I may convert the spreadsheet into an interactable tool and give it out

Also, this series has single handedly made me want to redownload MS, havent played in like 3 years, but this is making me want to play again and try out Legends, and maybe even starting an ironman of myself. Awesome content! The quality of each video is really good. Since your personality is very entertaining, I don’t think you need to take so much time in between videos.
You can break up your big videos into smaller ones. You don’t need to hit certain milestones each video. It’s okay to have a video where we see the hector scrolls fail with no resolution.
You should try 2 videos a month and see how you like it. More consistent uploads would be great!
I think I will!! From an algorithm perspective it's what UA-cam wants to see, but I'm way more focused on a good viewing experience. If I can make a video that I think has a good ending, I'll just put it out rather than wait for a big milestone. I absolutely refuse to keep a schedule of sorts though if that means the vids get unintended cliffhangers 🤢

It's such an integral part of gaming imo. It's a shame most MMO's that used to play like this now are more concerned with making sure we log in every day rather than making us feel rewarded for putting time in just cause we like the game yknow? Weekly rewards, daily rewards, "Play for X Minutes" rewards, etc.

The Red Portal in the boar map (it does to Ariant) wasnt in this server until a year ago. It's still a relatively new addition. Certainly wasn't there when I started playing in 2022!

That's coming eventually! I don't do it now cause I'm not exactly set up for it, but also because I don't want to spoil anything for future episodes. When I stream, it'll be a super long task that I've already announced on a video most likely.

one thing i would like to say is the backround music is a lil to high some times and id love to see the full screen instead of a cropped image when you travel or explain things like the skills other wise perfect
I appreciate the feedback! ill keep a closer eye on the BGM. Is there a specific reason you want the whole screen for travelling? I figured it looks a little lazy on my part to have some longer unedited talking segments so I avoid it when I can. If there's something you're looking for I'll consider including it more!
