I hope people appreciate the immense effort, talent, and money that went into this restoration. The construction methods for this plane are mind-blowing. Huge thanks for the video. This is one of my very favorite planes.
Thank you spencerhughes2255. You did a wonderful job of coping with the bright sunshine. It was wonderful to witness the event, but thank God there are people like you around to capture it for others less fortunate who couldn't attend, and for those of us who could attend and now have our memories preserved on video. Thank you again.
After seeing photos of her remains rotting in a Chino storage yard twenty years ago I never thought I'd see PZ474/NZ2384 fly again. To see her flying at Chino is a real "pinch me!" moment. Thank you for this wonderful video Spencer.
My mum's best friend's husband flew Mosquitos during the war. In his study was a propellor blade from his Mossie, complete with 20mm cannon shell hole from a FW190 he had a run in with over Germany in early '45. I was gobsmacked. Obviously, he won and the FW 190 lost. Brilliant!!!
Great video Spencer. My daughter and I really enjoyed your video. It was a pleasure meeting you today. When my O-2A is ready to fly I would be honored if you would be there to take the first flight video.
The Mossie gets my vote for greatest aircraft of all time! Beautiful, fast, capable of so many different things, beautiful, great sounding, fast. Did I mention the speed and the beauty?

One of the most beautiful aircraft ever built - if not the most beautiful. A pure thoroughbred from the outstanding De Havilland works.
Those Merlin engines and nose cones give it such a “tough” look thanks for posting such great content on your channels

Magnificent. A supreme and highly appreciated marvel of expertise, effort and sacrifice. Bravo for breathing life into the old girl.

Great video, nice to see the props spinning at the right RPM, sadly so many aircraft posts show them wrongly. Superb 👌
Credit to the people who bought this DH Mosquito back to life.
It sounds awesome like a merlin should.
awesome plane
I Love Your Channel

Absolutely Wonderful...
You did nice job at this like all your videos, brought back memories of 633 squadron, got to watch it again 👏 😀
Amazing warplane, amazing sound!!
Wow train and aeroplane channel
That's me!
Superb video! Nice to see it take off & land. Didn't get that view by the museum.
Thanks for posting this! Was hoping to make it out there, but son didn't want to go last minute. I used to fly Cessna's out of Chino.
Those are some seriously dialled Merlin's...
Great sound on this as well.
I would love to buy that!
BETTER START SAVING
Is This In Orange County?
Almost. Western end of San Bernardino county.
What a beauty!
First Mosquito I've seen fly at Chino. Where was this restoration done?
NEW ZEALAND, THEY ARE ON THEIR 4TH RESTORATION.
Wonder what it was like firing all those guns right in front of the cockpit....
NOISEY, HOW ABOUT THE 6 POUNDER CANNON SOME OF THEM HAD. THE KICK USED TO REDUCE THE PLANES SPEED
Wooden wonder
nice
