Sometimes when I look back on the early hair styles I think they braided their hair so much (other characters did it too) in order to keep it from getting tangled or more messy because they were on the ground without access to things like hairbrushes and shampoo, etc. This was evidenced heavily in Octavia and Clarke's hair in Season 3 and the beginning of Season 5 when they both had braids and then later both appeared to cut it to more manageable lengths, assuming to avoid the need to use things like braids to maintain their hair. It was also evidenced in the way the grounders wore their hair. And the way Clarke maintained Madi's hair (there is even a scene in season 5 when she is braiding Madi's hair).
I love watching you braid your hair. and there's so much of it! the fishtail by itself is more hair than I have on my entire head. I envy you. I love my hair, but yours is so much better.

You should do octavias season 4 hairstyle. The high ponytail with the french or dutch braids on the sides pulling back into the ponytail with falling braids with it

thanks for tutorial. i made this hairstyle and thanks to you it was quite easy. it wold look better if i havnt shave 1/3 of my hair for summer. after doing this braids it looks like i have very little hair left😂 keep doing Girl! i will try your other hairstyles
uuuugh so pretty! my hair is so unmanageable... thin, hella long, and easily snarled. trying to braid my hair is a nightmare because it just gets tangled at the end and my arms get a hell of a workout since my hair is to my butt. lol
