In the 15secs if the price moves from 100 to 500 then your algo executes at 500 by getting the latest LTP. Then you are getting more slippage right Jegan.
Yes ihave the same doubt in SLL(algo)...if the pice jump and algo execute at latest trigger which is very high price ,then huge loss....did you got the answer brother ?

Nothing will happen for IC or Butterfly. Freak trades impact only impact in 2 scenarios: 1. While entering trade or exiting the trade. Whenever you enter or exit you should always execute limit orders. 2. If you have placed Stop loss. The stop loss orders should be kept as SLL as Jagen explained. Since you are talking about hedged position there is no need for any stop loss so it will not impact.

Awesome knowledge sir, Can u please clarify one more point for retailer, if we are shorting an equity in intraday, example reliance share short at 2200. My SL trigger i am taking as 2250. So here how much percentage of difference is good enough for placing SL price so that we can make sure our SL will not be slipped. Like trigger price is 2250, so SL is 0.5%(2261) or 1%(2272) or how much percent of difference is good enough according to you sir to place SL?
Say I Initially sell for 100. Place SL-L for Trigger 130 , Limit 135. Is it possible that price jumps from 128 to 132 and nothing gets triggered. Or any price > 130 will activate the trigger ?
Stock options have even less liquidity than index options of non popular strike prices Yet stock options never had freak trade. This is definitely not issue of liquidity.
Freek trade is fraud don’t trade option even if ur positions are hedged no use example credit spread one strike goes up other don’t then ur positions will be squared off

@@sandeepmonish8864 This incidence is going to affect habits and mindsets of lot of people. There's no solution to such events. Even hedging is not safe here. Habit of order placement at market price is also a dangerous one. For option selling, you practically need to have either unlimited supply of money or a mindset to take a trade and be mentally prepared to lose profit of full year or even to sell the house in worst case. Absent mindedness of exchange and regulator is more bigger problem.
If nothing else NSE should limit prices to rational prices with some allowance. There will always be an order in which ITM ATM and OTM can be and should be. In freak trades mid strike is priced disproportionately. So all mid strike prices should be between the adjacent strikes with some deviation.
Is this freak trade happening for option buyer?? where the buy order is getting executed at high price and sold at low price?? If this is the case then brokers need to fix their system. Actually the order should get rejected bcos of insufficient fund.
@@nokiak4095 that is already there like 5% of mkt protection. I.e if no orders are there within 5% of LTP it won't execute. But it is there for only some platforms
