do you remove the ac in the winter? and if you leave it what ideas are there to prevent cold air from coming through the AC? (we live in Canada and winters are cold while summers are hot)
I have an LG LT1236CER and the rear black plastic strip you removed is also on my model, but its white and attached to the protective cover around the motor... So I'm assuming I shouldn't remove this even though it serves a similar function to the black strip you removed.... UPDATE: LG Rep said if the plastic part is on the outside it can be removed...
Same here,I need to build up the bottom/top and the sides by at least 1" on each. Then I hope the sleeve fits. The very old units were quite a bit bigger. Good luck!
I have a brand new LG and the compressor on both of them i ordered blows cold air for literally 1 min then blows hot air. Like wtf??i reset it and all. Smfh dont but LG units smh
The old unit will always out preform the new unit and I hope you donated to a thrift store instead of throwing it out.
That was Awesome and Exactly what I needed to do,thank you, Great !!!
How he lifted the ac like nothing 😂😂

Is ground necessary?
What kind of AC is that? My wall measurements are 25 by 15 how can I go about buying the right ac that will be perfect fit? New to this 🥺
Hey girl you could get a 24x14 my measurements were 26 by 16 i bought a 24 and all you have to do is cover the remaning sides by foam
Hi my sleeve is 16” deep, is a 20” deep ac compatible with my existing sleeve?
The base board heater looked like a problem waiting to happen.
What If I could only find a smaller unit to install in an existing sleeve? 😬

Installed one and didn’t unscrew that small flap at the end. Is that a huge issue??
Yes

MIAMI FL...
some air conditioner came with a green wire, what about that. you dont used on the video.
the grounding wire is optional as long as you have a working three prong grounded plug.
Alright now do mine
I could not understand what he was saying half the time.
