The 8,026 bears she’s accumulated in her hometown of Rapid City, South Dakota, USA is so extensive, it's earned the 68-year-old a spot in the new Guinness World Records 2018 book for the world's Largest collection of teddy bears.

There's a very fine line between a collection and hoarding. This lady is awesome. The fact actually remembers where she received so many of those bears, was amazing in and of itself. Bravo!
You know the difference between the two, right? A hoarder has no organization, while a collector proudly organizes and displays their collections. So, a collector can have more than a hoarder, just the way they treat it is what separates the two.

this is so beautiful. each bear holds a memory, most of them received as gifts. even ones that remember those who have passed away. this is such a beautiful collection, with a collector with a big heart.

That is a totally awesome collection of Teddy Bears:)! I collect Teddy Bears, but I do not own nearly as many as this cool Lady:). I would love own a "Smokey Teddy Bear" and I liked a Teddy Bear that she had with a Purple Wizard's hat:). I wonder if this Lady owns any Steiff Teddy Bears? This Lady is really a nice, sweet, and fun person who makes me feel good about collecting Teddy Bears.

I have a super large collection, but not just all bears, stuffed animals. So lots of other creatures in my collection. Love this collection and she has a nice place to display them all, lucky her.

I love this. I collect teddy bears, rabbits, dogs and cat plush. I do not have a collection like this but I know I have at 100. I do not display all of them. Maybe have about 10 out at once. You are never to old for toys that bring you happiness.

Jackie seems like an absolute sweet heart! I am beyond amazed but mostly fascinated by collections and their owners. Ones like this, are beyond just beautiful because of the kindness and happiness inside.
