They probably wanted to go in a different direction about Mario's voice, I understand. But they could not ditch Martinet like that. They need to keep him for at least some spinoff games, like Mario Kart
Moo Moo Farm, Choco Mountain, Both Results, and No Trophy Finish are my favorites. Especially Choco Mountain, I need an extended version of the Engineer and Soldier dancing to it.
The staff credits have always made me tear up a little bit, ever since playing it in my living room back in the early 2000's. That song got to a deep part of me.
