I love that sand shades = sand soldiers for Azir
I'm running something similar to yours. Complete Minstrels; I use Healing Infusions instead of Precision; instead of Monk, I use Water Runes; Instead of Flock, I use Cerus for the extra strips. Running Blood Magic instead of Soul Reaper for additional HPS. Sigil set-up is different. Utilities differ slightly (Dessicate/ToA instead of WoD/Serpent Siphon). But holy damn, the might and alac uptime is beautiful, and the Barrier output is crazy good. And although I hit like a wet noodle, the strips, barriers, conversions, and the immortality of the build more than make up for it. Overall, Minstrel Scourge is fun af to play.

Scourge stocks went up given how Berserkers with Arc Divider can only be meaningfully tanked with barrier. Cant say I really like the overreliance on zerkers rn for dps, as the class is in a terrible condition outside of massive damage single strike boon spammed skills.
I digress, might try this scourge build eventually. Wishing Specter could become something akin to Scourge eventually. Dps or support.
What i don't understand is the "Relic of the Flock". Here in the Video the Cooldown is 10 Seconds, but when i see the same Relic in German Language the Cooldown is 30 Seconds. It's a Bug in English or German Translation or is the Really Cooldown 30 or 10 Seconds? Or was a Fix in the Last 2 Days?
I didn't know about that 30s, but the real cd is 10

They changed Desert Empowerment for WvW. It gives vigor instead of alacrity Is this build still a viable option?
It's still meta, just worse than before due to multiple nerfs. Went from op to strong
why is your barrier higher when I press F1 it only gives 1.4k and when I press F3 it only gives 2.8k but my hp is 30k. Is there a specific stats to increase the barrier? Oh btw we have almost same healing power like 1.5 - 1.6k

Trying to use this build but when I equip Greatsword, all of my skills are greyed out. Any idea why?

Greatsword only available for reaper so make sure you run scourge equipment for scourge and reaper equipment for reaper build

And why you have at skill F4 1500+ Barrier per Pulse and i have only 830 with Full Minstrel Ascended Gear and Monk Rune? What i can't see? And the same Skill Tree...
And why you have only 28K Life and i have 30+ Life? Have you maybe forgot the "Jade-Bot-Core 10"

I don't have jade bot core 10. Idk about the barrier tho
Celestial is the worst if you don't even know what to min max for your build...

Everywhere I see that GW2 doesn't require the traditional Tank/Healer/DPS roles. Then I see everyone making Tanks/Healers/DPS to fit the traditional group roles.
It used to be like that, but it changed with and from HoT expansion
Gw2 definitively does not have traditional(!) roles

It does have group roles, but they're very different than traditional "trinity". Builds are generally divided into being a pure DPS, a boondps which will deal less damage than a pure dps, but will provide beneficial buffs to allies and a healer/support, which will keep the party alive with heals and/or barrier and also provide buffs. In general a 5-man party wants to have 3 pure dps, 1 boon dps and 1 healer and you want to make sure that one of them will provide the party with alacrity (which will reduce everyone's cooldowns) and the other one will provide quickness (which decreases the time to cast abilities). There are also other very important buffs like might, protection, fury and these can be 100% covered by just the healer in most cases. In PvP or certain raids you also have other offroles, like boonstrip in the case of the scourge in wvw - what it means is that you have a lot of abilities or traits that can delete enemies' buffs.
@wojciechszatko My take is you have one main person that specs to take agro and get hit. You have another main person that specs to heal. You have 2 people that specs dps. Your 5th wheel is a random support.. it could be anything Bard providing buffs and dps, wiz casting shield and dps, druid dps and backup heals, warrior dps and backup tank. I see no difference in what's been the rotation in mmos for decades. The only change is that some classes can fill more positions like the WoW Druid. I don't see videos about warriors' group healing raids. They are tanks or dps. Haven't looked, but what roles other than dps does thief play? It's next on my list to level. So far, Guardian seems to be the one true do everything class. Most others seem to fill 2 roles. I could be wrong since I've seen necro tank lower lvl stuff but I'm new and have yet to run a 10 man raid. My ranger can heal and dps. I wouldn't want to tank anything significant, but can I? Is it just a skill or gear thing?
