    You were scoring some good points there Bryan! That jump to the short rail to the combo was a 30 point shot! Very nice my friend!
    Be well,

    Hey Bryan been only play for two years now. I’m 62 have not played since I was 16. Those shot are a dream to me. I’ve been playing in league for a 1 1/2 years. Those are dream shots to me, inspiring me. Maybe several more years before these difficult shots

    6:26. You're "hitting it low but going to let it run, a combination of low and follow."
    So a drag shot?
    How can the cue ball have enough backspin to transfer forward spin to the 2 ball, and then the next instant, the cue ball has the forward spin to travel above the tangent line?

    • @FXBilliards
      @FXBilliards  2 роки тому +1

      It is a drag shot. The spin has to be just enough to let the ball roll after contact. The angle helps quite a bit.

    I had that last shot in 10 ball League. Thanks now I know how to get out of it lol. 10 and 9 in the pockets just like yours. 8 sitting just about like your example. I ended up 3 rail bank in the side. Not much skill just mostly luck lol

    This may be off topic but maybe you can make a video about playing down to your opponent. This seems to happen to me. When playing a high skilled player, I play good. When playing a low skilled player I play the way they play. I just had a good example of this. I had a friend over who plays pool maybe once a year and while playing against him for a couple hours I could not even get half way threw a rack the entire time. When he left I ran 2 in a row and 3 more that night.

    For that 3 cushion side pocket bank are you using any English? I've never committed to practicing that shot.

    • @FXBilliards
      @FXBilliards  2 роки тому +2

      Hey bud. No english on that shot. In fact, if you do put english on it, it becomes very difficult. At least to me it does. You end up hitting that ball that is in the opposite corner pocket.

    We don't have diamonds on tables in the UK. That's where you guys have an advantage. I bet not even 10% have markers on the table like yours do...

    Where can u but that practice cue ball

    • @FXBilliards
      @FXBilliards  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks for watching - those are not practice balls- those are Archos two balls. They are at the top of the line tournament balls made by Arimith and you can buy the cue ball at predatorcues.com. Cue ball by itself, I think is $40. thanks again for watching.

    I was practicing that last shot yesterday. I can make it 8 out of ten times. But I was wondering if it would work anywhere else with a parallel shift?I tried it a few times but I kept hitting the corner pocket when I try to come out of a corner.

    • @FXBilliards
      @FXBilliards  2 роки тому +2

      There may be a par shift but I dont know it. Also, hitting that corner ball is the biggest hazard of this shot. Any time I miss the shot, it is usually because I hit the corner ball. Thanks for watching Chris.
