Junior Marvin plays good 'n sings even better, he is very attractive!! A famous Jamaican musician said in a radio interview that Junior Marvin had trouble because he wrote great songs but they did not end under his name, but were stolen... I believe that for sure ...

@@coop6687 ...hello! that song was perhaps the only song which was famous for half a year because it's Junior MURVIN's song, not Junior MARVIN's song. Jr Murvin was a very good studio musician, playing in the Upsetters. And Lee Perry had all the best musicians. But Jr Marvin played in the Wailers with Bob Marley, and Junior wrote great tunes like "Could you be loved" and many other fantastic songs, but he didn't get any credit for his songs cause Bob Marley recorded them as if they were his songs, which they were not. Bob Marley played and recorded other great tunes which he hadn't even written himself... like Bunny Wailer's songs and Peter Tosh' songs also. Jr Murvin's only good song was "Police and Thieves" and that's it. But like I said he was a very good pianist and organist, too. He died all too young cause he had a severe diabetes. Perhaps it's better for me not to write more of music, because it never ends!! :) How do you like Jah B's song "Pass it on".. he was just 16 when he wrote it. I can only recommend Bunny Wailer's LP's. He wrote great songs, is a great Nyabinghi drummer and sings like an angel. And so was Peter Tosh. I like those two most... right after Dennis Emmanuel ( and the Cool Ruler, naturally. ) Alrite..that's it!! Have a peaceful Xmas time!!

@@helithemaddog4994 His song writing skills were shown off in Hanson (the rock band before BMW) and his years with The Wailers Band. He had a lot of great songs on ID, Majestic Warriors and JAH Message all attributed to him. You talk about Could You Be Loved, but we can establish that a least part of that song was actually Wailers work prior (see Judge Not) that portion was sung by the I-Threes. It's no question that a lot of the music known as performed by Bob Marley and The Wailers were absolute remakes of his own music from The Wailing Wailers.
