I don’t think so. It’s not letting down New Zealand. It's a known fact. That’s why they wanted to promote public transportation by offering it at half price until July. It’s the truth, and I have faced so many scenarios where trains are about to come and get cancelled. We don’t want people to believe this is a dream land that will happen everything. When I was a student, I had a car, which I bought for $1000. Anyone can afford a car in New Zealand, not like in Sri Lanka. If you go further north or south, you will need your own vehicle to do your day-to-day tasks, as they don’t have many public transport options. Even people who are on benefits in New Zealand have their own cars, and people in Sri Lanka who work for a high salary are not even financially stable to buy a bike. I hope you understand.
