There's just something... off about this ride, and I'm not talking about the trippy visuals. Kinda feels like a fairground dark ride that they rethemed and added a couple decent projection effects to.
Makes complete sense. Kaleidoscape was Meow Wolf's 2nd big project after House of Eternal Return in Sante Fe. They re-themed a Ghost Blasters from Sally Dark Rides. I think we probably expect a bit more from Meow Wolf now that they have Omega Mart in Vegas and Convergence Station in Denver.
@@ParkRovers Interesting, I didn't know much about Meow Wolf and wasn't aware they were behind Omega Mart. Definitely not the same level of detail here, though it's also a very different project and idk what the budget was for this.
@@jonathanbishopmusic Ghost Blasters closed in October 2018, and Kaleidoscape opened in April 2019. A tight timeline and probably a tight budget. They did well, considering! But I'd love to see a refurbishment now that Meow Wolf is a more prominent brand/company.
@@ebw16256 I definitely think Meow Wolf could plus this up by removing the shooting element. I wasn't sure exactly what it actually did (besides cracking the egg at the end), so I shot some targets in this video. I tried to keep it minimal, though.
Classic Meow Wolf. Either designed while on acid, or must be on acid to properly experience. 100% visuals, 0% narrative. ( Which is not necessarily an insult ) I'm just saying people in today's theme park demographic are used to seeing a narrative that makes sense. When you go on a Meow Wolf experience, expect the narrative to be loose if present at all. I loved Omega Mart but the attempts to reveal the narrative required too much digging. Just take it for what it's worth, a bunch of weird visuals. Well done. On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give that a Z+.
Feels like ET at Universal!
Greetings! May I use this footage in a video I'm making about bizarre dark rides? I will give your channel full credit.
Sure! Thank you for asking 😁
At first I misread the park name as "Eldritch Gardens", but after seeing this ride I think it's actually the correct name
Eldritch Gardens definitely seems like it'd be a real place 😄

It being a sally ride clears it up for me. I do wish manufacturers would stop with the shooting dark rides though. Too distracting.

Couldn't have said it better.
This must be the worst ride to get high on
🤣
