”Tabi noYado” _A night of travel at a Japanese-style inn Takuro Yoshida
Released on July 1, 1972. Released by Odyssey/CBS Sony.
Lyrics by Osami Okamoto, Music by Takuro Yoshida
    Produced by Takuro Yoshida
    Takuro Yoshida's fourth single song.
(English translation of the rough meaning of the Japanese lyrics)
    (at a room of a Japanese-style inn)
You've changed into a yukata and your hair is adorned with a kanzashi you made from soot
You pick up the hot, heated sake bottle by the neck and smiling, you say to me,
"Would you like another glass of sake?”
You're so sexy and charming when you say that.
I'm sitting in the full lotus position.
Your cheeks and ears are bright red from the alcohol.
I think, "This is very Japanese mood, very elegant."
I think I'll sing a haiku about this feeling
We turn off all the lights in the room and sit by the window watching the moon.
Your hair smells so good after a bath
This moon is called the waxing moon, right?
It's been a long time since I've seen the moon with you.
I'm so drunk that I'm lounging on your lap with you as my pillow.
I've had so much to drink that I don't think I can even hold you tonight.
This song was Takuro Yoshida's No.1 single on the original Confidence Japan chart in 1972,
and was one of his best-known and biggest-selling singles.
Takuro Yoshida is a Japanese singer-songwriter born in Kagoshima Prefecture and raised in Hiroshima City.
He is one of the pioneering Japanese singer-songwriters, who, in the early 1970s, took folk and rock music from minor to major in the Japanese pop music scene.
In April 1970, he was hired by the independent label Japan Elec Records as a contract employee. Although his musical activities were like a continuation of his amateur days, his songs in the style of playing and singing with a single guitar won the support of the core youth of the time, and he gradually became a charismatic figure of the era.
There were many singers at the time who were called "Japanese Bob Dylan,"
but Takuro Yoshida was the one who was the most suitable in both name and reality for his musicality, message, presence, and influence.
In January 1972, he moved to CBS Sony and signed a contract as an artist and producer, making his major label debut.
Upon the move, he released "Let's get married" in 1972, which suddenly became a big hit in Japan, reaching No. 3 on the charts
and selling over 400,000 copies, making him one of the most famous folk singers in the country.
